Great pictures. As a youngster I was always fascinated with the daredevils. The brave ones could go under the power lines. I flew with an ex duster that could cut the lines with the prop.
I learned the truck is not a safe place to keep a camera. I lost my Canon G-11 to a thief.
Not all disabled or handicapped people demand special treatment. I am disabled but wait my turn and do not go before others.
I have been to Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Budapest, Belgium, France, Normandy,Italy, British Isles. My camera was the Canon 40D then Canon 70D along with a Canon G 11.P&S camera. 28/135mm Lens with both cameras. Pictures were very good.I replaced the 28/135 later with a Tamron 16/300mm. Wish I had kept the 28/135.
A ride you will never forget.
Discipline something many of Americas kids are lacking.
Not new. Some just have to win at any cost.
Jeff what unit were you assigned to? I served in Co.A 3rd BG 6th Inf. at McNair Barracks. Feb.1961 until Aug.1963. I was lucky to see our city again in 1998,2006 and 2010.Many changes through the years but still Beautiful Berlin.
You are absolutely correct. I was there when the border was closed and the wall was started. I served from Feb.1961 until Aug.1963. I was amazed at how bed the East Berliners were treated by the Russians and their own serving in the East German Army. The Soviet Monument has always been on of my favorite spots. It is located in the former British sector and had to be guarded by the Brits to protect the Russian Guards from the West Berliners after the shooting of 18 year old Peter Fechter by the Vopos near Checkpoint Charlie in Aug.1962. I have so many memories of my time there and will aaaalways love the City and the Berliners.
I love to shoot film from time to time especially B&W.I was preparing to order some film from B&H until I saw the price. Can anyone explain the reason for the sudden increase in price? I guess I may have to live with digital. Thanks for your response.
Beautiful Young Lady. Congratulations and Best Wishes for a wonderful life.
Beautiful Country. We went there in 2010.
