The mood in these are just amazing! Absolutely love the color values. Right time, right place, and definately the right photographer! Very well done!
It was one of those incredible adventures and the photo ops were also incredible. They even went over the Willamette River, here in Oregon, and set us down ever so lightly into the water. The only fault I had with it was that it didn't last long enough. I wanted to stay up there all day!
I was born in Nampa and spent sooooo much time in this canyon. I absolutely love the smell of sagebrush. I guess it reminds me of when I was a kid. I hunted and fished this canyon every chance I could. There's a lot of history in there, too. Used to find arrowheads all over the place. I would rather like to see this in color. Nice vantage point to shoot from.
Wow, Beth, these are just fantastic! We have a big herd of these guys in the Columbia Gorge that I have photographed many times. You can get pretty close to them too. Love to see them and have painted them a couple of times. Just love the looks of these! Great job!
I would never shoot our ocean at a slower speed to get the silky look. They strong contrasts of the foam patterns is what sets this ocean apart and makes it dramatic. We paint it the same way. If we, as artists, were to paint it in the silky version, we would have a much harder time ever finding a home for it. Nice job on an ocean I visit on a regular basis!

When she sings Guess Who I Saw Today, everything stops til it's over. It's one of my top favorites by one of the best voices in the industry. The singers today can't even start to compare. Just pure class!
The best thing I have ever found was to put peanut butter on the trap, then set either a sunflower seed or a cheerio into it. Let it sit a couple hours so that the peanut butter gets firm. I have caught up to four mice without even rebaiting it!
It is a shot with amazing texture. Everywhere you look it changes with another texture, all pleasing together. It's very artistic! I like it too!
Man, I've never heard that one before. Wow, is that a picture to view in shame or what? It was a very tough time when this was made. It's so sad that she let the drugs take her away at such a young age.
I think it was one of the worst halftime shows. To me, this is everything but music. I think grabbing your crotch every couple seconds shows that maybe they all have the crabs, or some other crotch cricket! Nope, sometime we went to the kitchen and made sandwiches instead of watching. Just awful! Loved watching the game though. Both teams deserved to win.

I can't thank you enough for the use of your photos in my paintings. These just make my mind whirl. I'm counting down the day til June when I'm visiting there myself. I never see old places like this without thinking about the story behind the scene. There was a lot going on at this location at one time. Oh, to have the access to a time machine!
