From this Crazy Cat Lady, Congratulations!! I have never had 20, but have been up to 8. Now at 7 since Cinder decided he could cross the road when a car was coming. That was sad. I raised Cinder and 5 siblings with a bottle. Their mother died when they barely had their eyes open. Three of them were adopted and I still have Cream and Simba along with Silver, Mikey, Milo, DeDe and Mischief. Maybe you can use one of those names if you are looking for a name.

Don't miss Mormon Row to get photographs of historic buildings with Teton background and Cunningham Cabin where you can get photos of the Tetons framed by the windows in the cabin. So many great photo opportunities everywhere you go that you shouldn't have any problem with or without a guide. There was a good restaurant at Teton Village with lots of interesting memorabilia on the walls and ceilings. Don't exactly remember the name, but I think it had something to do with Moose, maybe Mangy Moose or something like that. Tetons are probably my favorite place to photograph.

A comment that makes me grit my teeth is the person who tells me, "You take really great pictures, you must have have a really good camera." It is not the camera or the equipment, it is the photographer that creates the photo. I read a study once where they gave famous photographers cheap point and shoot cameras and average individuals top of the line equipment. The professionals still created the best images with the cheap point and shoot cameras. Practice, Practice, Practice. Experiment and study is how you develop as a photographer.

How about hiking, riding horseback, riding bicycles, playing sports, playing hide and seek, reading and spending time with friends actually talking. That is how I grew up in the 40's and 50's.

I am a Black Hills native and love the area. Consider myself lucky to have grown up there. Custer State Park has rebounded from the fire. The grass has come back so good that I had to tone it down a little on my photos because it looked artificial. Several of the donkeys died as a result of the fire. Two were donated to the park to help out the herd, but they are all more skittish and not beggars like the originals. Recently, a new baby was welcomed to the herd. All of the suggestions previously mentioned are great. If you are into hiking, hike up Black Elk Peak (formerly Harney Peak) which is near Sylvan Lake. Tremendous views. The missile base if off I 90 west of Kadoka, not at Philip. Close to the Badlands Loop exit.

Google the Rainbow Bridge. It is about how all of our pets are waiting beyond the Rainbow Bridge for us and we will be united. A vet gave a copy to me when I had to have my sweet Penney put down. It really helps.

I've always entered and exited from the north. Will have to take the Riverton route next time if I go again. It is beautiful!

While in the area don't forget Carlsbad Caverns National Park (U.S. National Park Service), Take 2 lens to covering 12 to 200mm you will be fine

Sent this once, but it didn't show up. Wind Cave NP and Jewel Cave NP are in the area. Carlsbad is nowhere near.

Needles highway, Custer National Park, deadwood, Leadville and more are must see spots while you are there. Also, careful with he bison. They are wild animals and can do serious damage Very quickly.

Custer State Park and Lead, not Leadville. Right about the bison. Be very wary and the burros are back in the park after being treated for injuries from the fire. Several of them died. They will come and beg treats from your car window.

You must mean Wind Cave NP or Jewel Cave NP. Carlsbad is no where near the area.

My daughter gave me a Canon years ago. Kind of got away from it using the Yeti type mugs, but I think I will get it out again. I always use it for photo workshops. Mine has a metal liner, so no microwave.

Which one did you purchase for charging your computer?

Pomgear.com
It is called Powerhouse 10400mAh
It is charged by plugging into an outlet when you have access and it held the charge well even when I charged my cell phone and computer. Compact size, I carry it in a little zipper bag with my cords etc. About the size of a pack of cigarettes (No I don't smoke.) Hope this helps. Got it from B&H.

I have purchased portable charging devices from B & H. I used one of them to charge my computer and cell phone in the car on a trip with my family. Everybody had so many devices plugged into the car plugins that I needed something. My daughter was working by computer on the trip and granddaughter was doing what 13 year olds do.Check out B & H Camera Photo Video. I am sure they have something that will work for you.
