Thank you all for the helpful links and aid in getting things posted. I'm sure as the weather warms and the Eagles return next month on the CT River, I'll have plenty to shoot as I learn.
Thank You All Again.
Well now that I'm retired. I took up this great hobby of Photography. Thought about quitting smoking for 56 years but never succeeded. Well my eyes are open to the wonder of Mother Nature and it's great to have the ability to enjoy it. The money saved on my old habit will go to good use buying camera gear and attending classes on Photography. I'll be asking some real amateur questions about which lens is good for a beginner who like landscape pictures.
Well worth getting up even in retirement,
I feel your pain, we had just a few inches of wet snow but it brought down big branches an power lines.

I now believe is was a Satellite, the contrail was not one of an airplane so I'll leave it at that.
While awaiting sunrise this morning I noticed a white dot just sitting low in the sky. As the sun began to rise it began a strange movement in a upward direction. Of course the one time I didn't have my 400-800 mm lens with me. Any ideas would be welcomed.
Nice Frame of a Great Picture
When I haven't use my woodworking shop to build thing I haven't the room in the house anymore. I thought it be a great place to set up for my photo work, its heated and has surround sound,
