Aprilart.

If I may, I'd like to suggest buying an early model; the Panasonic DC-ZS70 It will do more then you'll ever need, plus has a much longer 28-720 MM Leica Lens. I've taken fantastic photo's hand held at 720 MM.
and have also post processed (cropped) to about 1500 mm, and the photos were still very sharp.

You still may be able to buy a new one at B&H Photo,KEH Photo or direct from Panasonic.

I would also like to suggest buying Photographers Guide book to the Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS70 by
Alexander S. White to get the most out of this fantastic camera.

Good luck!

I would like to suggest the Panasonic DC-ZS70. Has a fantastic Leica zoom lens ( 24 mm to 720 MM ).
I have made some very sharp hand held shots @ 720 mm. Will do everything you'll want to do and more. It's in your price range Direct from Panasonic, KEH etc.
I would also suggest buying Photographers guide to the Lumix DC-ZS70 by Alexander S. White.

I also have the Canon T6i. Have a Canon EF-S 10-18 MM for wide angle, a Sigma 18-250 macro that I keep on the camera most all the time, and a and Tamron EF 60 mm f:2 macro for portraits.I find these combinations cover most all of my photograph needs.

Also have a Panasonic DC-ZS70 with a Leica lens that I use for travel.

Agree with insman1132. I oun the Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS70 and has a Leica lens with a very long reach; 24-720 MM. (fantastic print quality). A little too big to be pocketable but you can buy for a few bucks a case that will allow you to belt loop it.

I am using a canon 10-18 EF-S on my T6i Camera.
Any Canon EF-S lens you buy is for a crop sensor camera.
Therefore a 10-18 EFS lens will be a 10-18 MM.

Mike is one hell of a salesman My wife like's her's, I can't tell the difference.

In any event he's charging you $50.00 per pillow for a $10.00 pillow. Guess who's paying
for all his advertising?

This is one of my favorite portraits: Austin Sedicum was a past commodore of Maryland Yacht Club, back in the 80's. He had a beautiful Jimmy Durante nose that I wanted to emphasize, which I think I did.
Unfortunately Austin is no longer with us.

Camera was a Mamiya 645 with a 135 MM lens.

In Conway South Carolina you can not trim or remove old oak tree's.
Therefore, when a road is designed and built, and there is an old oak tree in the way,
they build around it, as you can see in the attached photo.

Shot with a Canon T6i with a Canon 10-18 EF-S lens.

While on a fishing trip with the very well known, Bill Burton, sports editor for the Baltimore Sun News,
we spotted the Pride of Baltimore 11 motoring north up the Chesapeake Bay to Baltimore.
It was very early on a cold January morning (2008). Taken with a Minox 35GT, which was the pocket camera of it's day. Had a 2.8 lens that I was told was made by Leica. I still have the camera
