This is an update to an earlier post that I cannot find! In that post I indicated that this camera lacked a lens cap. That has been remedied. It now has one and next week will have a clear, glass protective element as well. Other points in the original post remain the same--comes with Metz 36 AF-5 digital flash unit, three batteries and charger. Total asked: $400.
I didn’t see your earlier post but was wondering why you want to sell the Panasonic. Did you ever use it much? What didn’t you like about it? Anything wrong with it? Is it in perfect condition?
I know I’m asking a lot of questions, but I’m very careful about purchasing camera equipment. I have a Canon Powershot 9x Mark ii, which is a good camera, except for not having a longer zoom range...which is why I am interested in the Panasonic.
Looking forward to your reply.
I'm selling the LUMIX because I just don't use it. I bought it a couple of years ago as a light-weight travel camera, but since then, I haven't travelled anywhere interesting! The best feature of the lens is its 24-400mm zoom lens by LEICA. It has a 1" 20.1 MB sensor, records raw as well as jpeg and does 4k movies. It's really in good shape and it seems a shame to let it go so cheap, but new ones are also relatively cheap. I paid $800 for it. The only bad thing is that it is hard on batteries. That's why I'm including three. Keep them charged and you'll never run out of "gas."
Let me know! Thanks for your interest.
Hi again,
I just saw your reply and appreciate your answering. One more question I have...were you pleased with the quality of the photos you took with it? I mean the sharpness, color, etc. I’m definitely interested in getting it.
Thanks,
Darleen George

Yes I was. At the time my other camera was a Nikon D810. The Lumix/Leica did a great job, especially in the long reaches when you would otherwise need 10 lbs of gear! Don't forget the lens is licensed by LEICA and bears the LEICA name. You can't beat it in a compact camera.

Hi Darleen, see attached taken yesterday morning about 8.00am - a cool grey morning. A very good representation of what I actually saw. I think it gives a good idea of what the camera is capable of
Do you have the lens hood with it?
I know I keep asking more questions, but I just like to make sure before buying.
Do you take PayPal? I noticed you’re located in Sarasota. I live in the Gainesville, Florida area.
Paypal is preferred. My email is: jajones22247@verizon.net.
Sorry I didn’t see your response until now when getting ready for bed. If the other person hasn’t purchased it by tomorrow, Monday, then I’ll get it. You might already be in bed by now, but let me know as soon as you can. Thanks.
Aprilart.
If I may, I'd like to suggest buying an early model; the Panasonic DC-ZS70 It will do more then you'll ever need, plus has a much longer 28-720 MM Leica Lens. I've taken fantastic photo's hand held at 720 MM.
and have also post processed (cropped) to about 1500 mm, and the photos were still very sharp.
You still may be able to buy a new one at B&H Photo,KEH Photo or direct from Panasonic.
I would also like to suggest buying Photographers Guide book to the Panasonic Lumix DC-ZS70 by
Alexander S. White to get the most out of this fantastic camera.
Good luck!
