Someone in the group should have instructed him on the proper way to hold/focus the camera.

Tried the challenge. Nothing amazing, but here is what I could do with limited ability.

Does it really matter what day of the week it is? 😁

Nope! In my 29th year of retirement, and I still don't care what day it is. Every day above ground is great.

A bit of fill flash would have helped, assuming you use a non-phone camera. Otherwise some post processing would be in order.

I will apologize for jumping onto your post with this very quick pic revision. I know many frown on this, but my main point is to elucidate by example. So apologies again.

Fair winds on your voyage, Bob. A truly gifted photographer and instructor. He will be missed.

I had one just like this, except in white with copper color interior. One of the best cars I owned.

I have bought and sold with them. Never disappointed and the process is easy.

I also grew up in the '40s and '50s, so I remember all of these. I would make a couple of observations, though: the video mentions saddle shoes as being ubiquitous; not mentioned, however, was the wide popularity of male oxfords called SnapJacks by Thom McAn. These needed no shoestrings, as they were slipped on and the external tongue was snapped into place to lock the shoe. Most popular in '56-'58 in the Northeast.
One minor correction: Chubby Checker's The Twist did not appear until April, 1960.

Now that you mention it up, you're right, it's a 210, and I just missed it. Nice catch. Same body style and trim in any case.

I owned a '55 Chevy 210 back in the late '50s, and as I remember all the 210s had a center pillar on the side windows. This Chevy lacks the window pillars, so I believe that it is a Bel Air that has been slightly customized. The Bel Air marque may have been removed. The custom wheels attest to customization also.

Gorgeous! Locally, we used to call that color scheme "root beer & cream". I recall '55 to '58 Chevs were available in this two tone.

Good photo. Don’t think I would have messed with it.

Thanks for looking and commenting. I still have the originals, but just wanted to take some of the PSE effects for a spin.

This is a photo of my son-in-law and grandson taken by my daughter some years back. I rendered it in an impressionist style painting using PSE 2023 effects palette.
