I think she is showing a shower for two. Or for three.
Jerry is a BIG REASON why I come here.
Keep it up, Jerry! 👍
I wonder if it only works with faces, or if it's a general thing about our peripheral vision. What if one made the same animation by flashing different pictures of chairs?
It is widely known that we are wired to recognize faces, and so we can see faces in a variety of things (electrical plugs, car grills, etc.) But that breaks down in a horrifying way when we use peripheral vision to see faces.

> Enlarge the picture, and press Play. It will soon flash thru a series of faces.
> Stare at the + in the middle (don't look at a face directly), and so by seeing faces in your peripheral vision you will soon be treated to a freak show. I don't know why this works, but it's an award-winning optical illusion.
Cheers!
A very interesting set! The lines along the side of the larva are tracheal tubes.
I think, without much justification other than a feeling of recognition, that #2 is a Hemipteran egg. #3 could be an Annelid worm.
I have one that has 110 and 220, and I'm glad we got it. Just a few weeks ago we lost power, and it once again that was only a minor inconvenience.
We are being listened to more and more these days.
My wife loves her FitBit, which has several handy features and is not that expensive.
The first one blew me away.
Cheers!
Very good! I have not seen that species.
Yeah, that would have made me look twice!
Got surprised by daylight savings time, but here is a late post. Enjoy!
