Here is a shot before the eclipse with the same settings.
I was using a Nikon D3200, Lens: 55-200 mm, Focal Length: 145 mm, Focus mode: Manual, Aperture: f5, Shutter speed:1/125, Exposure Mode: Program Auto, Metering: Spot, ISO: I had it set to 200 but the camera reported 6400.
It was a matter of timing. The group I was with was the last group going through and I just waited until everyone moved out of the way. They are actually on the other side of the stones.
Here is a shot of Stonehenge in England. I had a once in a lifetime privilege to visit.
If you ever saved anything to disk with Picasa as a slideshow to give as a gift to someone and thought to remember to include a copy of Picasa for the recipient then you will be able to download it from that disk. This is how I was able to move the program from desktop to laptop. I will also be happy to make you a disk with the program on it if you want to contact me.
Excellent shots, I go to the re-enactment of the Battle of Olustee Florida that occurs every Feb 14.
I will photograph a family wedding for fun, but only as a guest, only as a photojournalist, and only if thereâs a true wedding pro getting paid to get the stuff the bride and her Mom wants. Thatâs my niche, and I stick to it. I stay out of the proâs way and donât copy his/her scenes or setups. I get the stuff they werenât hired to cover. I've been asked to be the photographer but I tell them this is your special day and you should pay a professional. I make a gift of my efforts after editing if necessary.
I agree with RGReel, don't worry too much about equipment. Take what you are comfortable with. Two years ago I went to Denali with a Nikon D3200 with an 18-55 and a 55-200 that came with the camera. I got what I felt were some great shots no matter what lens I was using.
The lighthouse at St Augustine, you have missed the Nights of lights in downtown St Augustine. Any of the bridges in downtown Jacksonville at night.
I love this model aircraft also.
I joined in April 1972 and went to boot camp on the north side of NATC Memphis, TN, retired October 1994 as a Chief.
This Airshow was at Jacksonville in 2014.
I took it two years ago when I first got my D3200 and realy didn't know what to expect from it. To say the least I was very pleased.
