Has anyone participated in the pay for wedding photo leads thru David's Bridal? Am considering participating in this lead program and would appreciate hearing from anyone who has worked with them.

Google Penn State Nikon 7200 tutorial video and watch it. Runs about 20 min, but will make things a tad easier. Don't panic. Was trying to post the link, and could not via android. Have had the 7200 since Mar of '16. You'll have fun.

Have owned a 7200 for almost 2 years. I run a Nikon 700 Speedlight, with it. I often use a Gary Gong diffuser, both of which are mounted in a vertical position. Use TTL mode on the flash. With these, the flash button on the pop up now becomes, the way you can back off, or increase your flash power using the command dial.

Please note on the original shot titled "HS Basketball", ISO was actually 5000 (was set on auto ISO), not 1600, as posted. Can't seem to find the EDIT button to make the change. SB

There has been some discussion on the actual indoor lights used in this particular gym, where I shot a photo submitted a few days ago. One of our group suggested that these are likely mercury, and not sodium vapor lights, the latter which are used almost exclusively outdoors. That makes sense. One of my replies, indicates that whatever these lights were, they emitted alternating cycles. Am submitting, for discussion purposes, two shots from the same burst, which illustrate the problem. Look at the back wall to the left of the scoreboard. I obviously did not submit these for publication, and these were not altered via Lightroom, which I normally do, before submission. These give you an idea of the type of lighting I was dealing with. I ran into a similar problem over a year ago, while photographing my granddaughter at her gymnastics facility. Shortly after that, our UHH group members correctly pointed out the nature of these indoor lights and how they emit differing cycles.

I may have mis-named the lights. These are likely mercury and not sodium vapor indoor lights. They do admit alternating green and pink tones every few seconds, which can be seen when photographed in burst mode. I was lucky that this image was captured in between those emissions. I noticed a similar problem a few years ago, at a local gymnastics facility that my granddaughter frequents.

Shot this on assignment 1/9/18. This gym has notoriously sub par (sodium vapor) lighting. Thank God for Lightroom. NIKON 7200 Sigma 24-70, 2.8 1/800 ISO 1600.

I bought "Nikon D7200 The Expanded Guide" by Jon Sparks at Mike's Camera for $23.99. It might be available elsewhere for a lower price. Good reference book.

Joe- Thanks for the tip. Picked up some Eneloop rechargeables a few weeks back, as Costco had a special on them. Haven't looked back. My nearby compadre, who hooked me in to DSLR photography, and has a 900 Speedlight, experienced a similar problem, at his nephew's wedding no less. Told him about the Eneloops and to also periodically clean the camera /flash contacts w/alcohol.

Correct-the San Disk Extreme Pro 90 MBS 64G. Since I don't always shoot in burst mode, video, or in Raw, I figure 2 32s work just fine. The everyday price@ Best Buy for these is $27.99-about 30 bucks, w/tax. The other part of the equation is, we as photogs , need to clean up our older cards, to make more space.

A B & H "Deal of the Day" has San Disk 90 64 gig cards for $36. Any advantage to these vs the 32s, which I've been using. My DSLR has 2 card slots.
