There were Secret Service personnel all around President Reagan, James Brady, and Timothy McCarthy and all 3 of them were shot by John Hinckley, who shot them because he was in love with Jodie Foster.

The Secret Service is well armed and trained, and yet one gunman injured 3 people before he was subdued.

Who still thinks a school teacher can do a better job of taking out a crazed gunman than several Secret Service agents can?

Wasn't that contract awarded to Diane Feinstein's husband? Wonder what went wrong.

Feinstein’s husband, the multimillionaire Richard Blum, once had financial ties to Tutor. But neither Blum nor his firm maintain any affiliation or financial investment in Tutor Perini, or any other derivation of the company.

From 2017 IRS figures:

"According to the latest IRS data, the payment of income taxes is as follows.

The top 1 percent of income earners, those having an adjusted annual gross income of $480,930 or higher, pay about 39 percent of federal income taxes. That means about 892,000 Americans are stuck with paying 39 percent of all federal taxes.

The top 10 percent of income earners, those having an adjusted gross income over $138,031, pay about 70.6 percent of federal income taxes.

About 1.7 million Americans, less than 1 percent of our population, pay 70.6 percent of federal income taxes.

Seems like a lot of us really aren't paying our fair share.

"According to the latest IRS data" - and yet not one single link to that supposed IRS data... But considering the "source" is a radical right-wing site that is to be expected.

You are aware there were people outside watching on monitors.

Since you are a Trumpublican and cannot read, here is this from the article that you OBVIOUSLY DID NOT read- "Enrique Aguilar, fire public information officer, told the El Paso Times that Trump received no special treatment and that 6,500 people attended the rally at the El Paso County Coliseum.

Aguilar added that the crowd size may have been 10,000 when considering the crowd outside the arena."

Finally decided to buy a new D750 from B&H, ordered on Thursday evening, was shipped in two packages was supposed to be delivered Monday, it wasn't . Tracking says one package containing the spare battery was delivered, it WASN'T. (at least not to me) Tracking also says the other package was refused. It wasn't by me. Furthermore, tracking says it was refused in Pittsburgh, my address is NOT Pittsburgh
I called B&H and they say they can do nothing until it gets back to them, IF it gets back to them. I cannot find a number for FedEx
B&H also says they will refund my card when the camera gets back to them, but what about the package they say is delivered, I know of no way I can prove I did not receive it.
I also reviewed my order on B&H,s web site and the address IS correct

I built a desktop computer from scratch a dozen years ago using a 500 GB SSD. I have not had a problem with the unit. It is a Samsung drive which handles the Windows operating system. I also have 4 other hardware drives (non SSD) to run the programs and handles data storage.

A dozen years ago would have been 2006-2007. The largest SSD then available was the Fusion-io PCIe-based Solid state drive with capacities up to 320GB. Samsung produced a 32GB SSD in 2006 and a 64GB SSD in 2008. In 2010 Samsung starting selling 200GB SSD drives. In 2013 Samsung introduced their NVMe SSD with capacity up to 1.6TB.

It's impossible that you "built a desktop computer from scratch a dozen years ago using a 500 GB SSD," "It is a Samsung drive."

WHY do people feel such a burning need to LIE?

Like it or not, GOD says that life begins at BREATH, NOT at conception.

Stop LYING about what God said and stands for. READ the Bible that you CLAIM to love. Until a breath is taken, life has not begun according to GOD, but then what does GOD know better than you, right? A false prophet is all that you are.

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

But the Constitution itself—from which all federal powers derive—does not delegate to the federal government power over immigration, only over naturalization. Thus, when the government's motivation for enacting i*********n l*ws is to further genuine compelling foreign policy goals, the laws will be upheld. But when the government's motivation is nativism or fear or hatred or favoritism, strict scrutiny will operate to defeat those laws.

Shortly after the first federal immigration statute was enacted in the 1880s—the Chinese Exclusion Act—the Supreme Court ruled that aliens, whether here legally or illegally, are persons, and the Constitution protects all persons from governmental deprivation of life, liberty and property without due process.
