If you are on a Windows computer go to the W7 page of the Canon support site and download a digital version of the CD. If you are on a Mac you are probably out of luck because if you even had the CD the software probably wouldn't be compatible with later macOS versions. But, on the Mac, you could use Apple Image Capture to connect.

The 500 Rule is a minimum for point stars. It is based on 35mm photography. For crop sensor or M4/3 cameras you need to use the 35mm equivalent focal length.

What AI version of denoising means to me is that I can shoot at higher ISOs. That makes hand holding long lens wildlife photography easier.

It only works with RAW images from Bayer and X-Tran sensors, so it is designed for digital cameras.
