I just had a terrible loss!

I don't know if this is ok but here goes. To all my HOG friends. My one month old Great Grandson just passed away in his sleep. I think the coroner is going with SIDS. The mom and dad are really taking this hard which is to be expected. I can't sleep tonight tried but no. He was such a precious one. He was born a month early but seemed to be alright. They were just at the doctors and he had they thought some acid reflux and some virus. But was ok. I was just getting ready to take some photos of him per granddaughter. We didn't have too many good ones especially with those big bright eyes being open. I will miss him terribly!! We had just babysat him a few days ago he was sleeping in my arms and would wake up for a few seconds open his eyes and would smile at Great Grandpa ( I knew it was probably gas but I thought he smiled at me anyway). I hope none of you ever has to go through this. Thanks for listening to my sorrow. I have to go the tears are coming again and i can't see screen. BE SAFE ALL!!

…the feeling of helplessness, coupled with the overwhelming sorrow will take a long time to heel…there will also be a lose of innocence where any new birth will be mixed with anxiety…I understand your lose…have the doctors check the mom for group B strep…you and your family are in my prayers…may you find comfort and support with each other…the hospital usually has available group counseling for the couples…they may only need a couple of sessions to learn about grief and the healing process…there can be a lot of guilt feelings with a lose like this which will need working through…may you all find some sort of peace…

Thank you so much SkyKing! We have a strong close family and along with that and GODS help will get through this. The hurt will never go away but maybe will become easier to deal with. There was so many police, Emts, Fire department etc. They said they always have a bunch of help like that especially for the ones so young. They did a big investigation to be sure which we all understood. Our WONDERFUL Police department is going to go to the complex to help them get out of their lease. They really don't want to stay there any longer. They also are going to help them find a new place to live. One last thing the police paster was amazing. they had other support people there also. They set up therapy etc. for them. Thanks again. GOD bless and BE SAFE!!

Thanks so much Jimmy. I don't think I have ever hurt like this before and would never wish it on anyone. We will get through this with GODS help. Thanks again and BE SFE!!
