okay so read the manual... but that's not what you asked about. I'm sure it's good advice but on that note I would just go get a DVD that shows me what the manual was talking about. But about lenses personally I would find the best 2.8 zoom lens I could find something along the lines of an 18-?. You'll pay more for sure but that way you can shoot in both sunshine in low light situations. Have fun

I had my new DSLR for only about a month when I had to photograph a relative's wedding. No pressure right? Was there the night before practicing and I became frustrated when my camera would not focus on the person coming down the aisle. I knew there had to be a fix so I went online that night searching for problems on focusing. That's when I learned about back button focusing. Not only did it helped me make good wedding pictures but I have never turned it off back button focusing since then. Absolutely love it

Try a Nikon p530. It's a bridge camera inexpensive and easy to learn. You should be able to find it for around $200. It has a 45 x Zoom and you will love it for sports. It only shoots jpeg and not raw but if you're okay with that you'll get a lot of use out of this camera.

What is not an issue? Couldn't cope with p900. It's one of the best all-around Bridge cameras.

Why not try some sort of a bridge camera like the Nikon p530. Much like a point-and-shoot with manual options. Yes you'll have to spring for a little bit more around $200 but It prepares people for DSL r cameras. Canon has some good Bridge cameras also. Just keep in mind most of the cheaper ones will not shoot in raw but they will get someone used to changing settings to take photos and getting better color

Science isn't considered science until it can be proven i e put it in a test tube and verified. No one can do that whether you're a creationist or evolutionist. So you only have two choices either you can believe then an intelligent God created everything or you can believe that everything happen by chance. It seems to me that the second option takes a lot more faith and the first actually infinitely more faith.

Way to defend your calvinistic point of view. I have never met one person who can defend Calvinism without twisting scripture. Of course all does it mean all in your first example. Actually it follows the "o t i" rule - pronounce haughty - whereby words that follow after oti are quotes. Therefore the writer was quoting a document which stated that all the world meaning all their world should we taxed. In your next example you do and Injustice by trying to limit all. And you do it by using no real Greek work at all. Be careful brother.

Maybe the D 3100 would be a good choice for you. It has 14 megapixel and it's come way down in price.

That last sentence should have read using flash can compensate and help you focus better.

Your pictures are blurry because your camera and lens are not design for low light settings. I have no doubt but that he used your regular kit lens. You need to use a lens with a wider aperture i e one with a smaller number 1.4 1.8 or 2.4 instead of the one you're using now which starts with either a 3.5 or a 4. That's my guess just looking at your pictures. Using flash can't compensate and help with the kit lenses to get a better focus.

Using back button Focus along with single-point help solve as much as possible my focus problems that I had with my D3100 using the 55 to 200 lens. Also you can adjust your meter to see which one works best. Believe me it is a little bit of a trick to focus these Nikon cameras but once in focus they do amazing work. Don't give up

I shoot almost everything in shutter priority maintaining control over my ISO. Also I use back button focusing for practically everything and often I go to single point Focus. True I have a 3100 but I experienced some of the same problems early on. Also play with your meter to see which setting works best.
