Every picture I took at our club house Halloween party were blurry with this camera. I don’t know what is going on. I share the pictures on our website after every party and I am just sick about this. Thank goodness we could not figure out how to video so used my trusty Panasonic lumix for the parade so got some decent shots. I checked this morning moved dials, etc, but still am getting blurry pictures. What have I messed up? This camera was new this summer and I did not use it mainly because I did not have time to learn all about it. Guess at my age I should stick to my point and shoot kind. Oh my camera is a Canon EOS Rebel T6/1300D. Anyone have any idea of what I am doing wrong? I had it set for the point and shoot setting.
Post a couple pics and click "store original" so UHHers can take a detailed look.

Check to be sure you have your lens on auto focus sounds like it may have been stuck on manual focus
Can't tell from your information, but sounds like focus issues which could be the result of camera movement, slow shutter speed. Or did you have your lens set to manual focus?
Two things come to mind immediately. By some chance you've turned off auto focus. Secondly, the shutter speed was too slow for the focal length lens you were using.

Too much firewater and could not see that focus was off??
What does that mean? I was just to have it set on auto, so what could be wrong.
Looks like it wasn't focusing on the right spot. Was Auto Focus turned off on your lens?

Usually , you need to "save original" when posting so we can see the details. Here it really looks like there was some issue with the auto focus. Either AF is shut off or a problem with camera lens communication.
How old are the camera and lens?
Check the "store original" box when you upload. We can see the metadata that way.
Probably you forgot to set the lens to autofocus. I am not sure how it is done on Canon. Probably some button somewhere.
