I love the richness of the colors and the details in the rain drops. Well taken.

Congratulations on the amazing anniversary. It is not one that is reached as often these days as it once was. The party looks like it was a real blast and everyone looked to be having a great time. You have a very lovely family who are obviously quite devoted. The pictures are very good as well.

Getting to that summit must have been quite a challenge. Thanks for making the effort and sharing your inspiring series.

Thank you again Vicki for checking out another of my topics in this series. I was driving but it was an interesting drive. It definitely is not one for the faint of heart. My driving skills learned by driving in the Colorado Rockies as a teenager served me well.

You really get a sense of "wilderness" from these beautiful images.

Thank you again Vicki for commenting. I think the thing I really liked was the sense of wilderness along this drive and going alone helped to reinforce it.

Good job! (I like the tree.)

Thank you David. I am so glad you liked these. That tree just called out to me and I was so happy the images came out so well.

I will find it and post it later. I took Kodak Brownie photos here in 1954. We came upon a Cessna that had crashed trying to clear the summit tundra. We found the pilot's eyeglasses and took them to the police in Red Lodge. He was recovering. Then on the way down, Dad ran off the road and bent the rear wheel well on our 1950 Mercury. Lucky it was the "good" side of the highway.

My Dad worked in the Park during the Depression, and his sister was a cook for workers at North Gate-Gardiner.
I will find it and post it later. I took Kodak Br... (show quote)

Thank you bkebbe for your wonderful memories of Beartooth Pass. I am sure it was an exciting trip and I would be very interested in seeing what it looked like at the time. If you would like to post an image or two here I would not mind.
