Fellow Hogs, thanks for your suggestions. I have selected photographs for the Beta by dragging and dropping from my file folder. Still can't get the "generative fill" to show up. I have kept up with each new update. I've explored options under "edit." I still can't get a functional fill box. Still open to suggestions. I will try the Beta forum.

Thanks again.

You need to do a selection of it to show.

Amazing how the bougainvillea in the window is mimicked by the live plant. The gardener knew what he was doing.

Taken in Atlantic City

Beautiful. I don't know why Jersey gets such a bad rap. I used to live in Sparta and it was gorgeous up there.

So...the first time I used this program, it seemed to work okay. Then I went through the scheduled update and now I can't find the prompt for generative fill. All I get on the page after I upload a photograph is prompts for Select Subject and Remove Background. When I "remove the background," still no generative fill. What am I missing here?

Any suggestions from fellow Hogs would be great. Thanks.

You have to have a selection for Generative Fill to show in the Contextual taskbar.

I just checked the weather forecast - another "Warm" day. The temperature will rise to a "Warm" 83° at 4:00 PM. I'm glad I have lots of trees for shade.

And it's not noon yet.

Another Bob Ross happy accident. Shot at 300mm on cropped sensor so I didn't notice the insect until post processing.

83° is 4 degrees lower than our daily low today in AZ.

Here are one of each. Sorry about the quality, but 72 res. doesn't give a lot of working room. If you still have access to the original, you might try using a good scanner (minimum 300 res.) That will give a much better base, and also eliminate the skew in the output. I had to do a little vertical correction.

Nice job, especially with the type. Try the Perspective Crop tool in Photoshop to eliminate the skew. Really easy to use and does a great job.

This is a scanned image of me late grandmother and grandfather who died just before I was born. I want to print his for my son and grandson but no matter I in Lightroom anything. The saved image cuts off the top of their heads.
I have cropped as much as I can but nothing works.
I am begging the brain trusts here who have always been there for people like me, to help me fix this image so I can print it as seen with their full heads.
Thank you for any advice or help is greatly appreciated.
Bruce.

My two cents. I used Generative Fill in Photoshop Beta to increase head and foot room. I resized to a 5x7. Then I made two versions, B&W and Color. I hope you like them. (BTW, this was taken two years before I was born.)
