I am lucky to have my deck close to a pond rookery. It allows my old self to capture candid exposures and not getting wet. My bones are grateful! I can get within about 3 meters of this spot.

IMO that is a terrific image. Great POV, good head angle, great expression on the Snowy's face, nice detail, good exposure (not always easy with this species). Using a long enough SS to elongate the rain drops was a stroke of genius. Image to be proud of.

I have about 100 images that did not turn out to get that rain. LOL
