Does this apply to nasty neighbors sleeping off a bender in their recliner?
Also had that test, though #10 said to put your name on the paper and turn it in, you got 100%
Notice that there is no tethering to keep it from falling over if kids try to climb it. Guaranteed to be recalled.
Only time we ever had "problems" with TSA was on a trip to Philly from WPB. Last minute purchase of tickets ,as father-in-law had passed. Put camera bag on scanner belt, was pulled aside as bag held cords for camera battery, cell phone battery, and ear buds. They couldn't make out what they were. Hardest part of the bag search was not laughing, as the TSA agent was a dead ringer for Little Richard, eye shadow and all!
The new EO that's set to drop Monday will probably clear up the issues. "The smartest move by the Administration is to revise the executive order to make clear that it only applies to unadmitted and nonresident aliens, whom the Supreme Court has stated have “no constitutional right of entry to this country as a nonimmigrant or otherwise.” That would render the due process holding of the court, which was the only issue reached, moot."
Can't think of anywhere in the US that they'd tow a hearse. Wife's cousin was taking his mother's remains for a ride thru the old neighborhood when the muffler dropped off of the hearse. He put two wheels up on the sidewalk outside K-Mart while he went inside for wire to re-attach the pipe. Not even a ticket or warning.
pipsgt, was that photo from Central Florida?
Had UPS deliver an obviously open and empty package.Guy walked up to the door, set the package down( it was a tube) open end up, and before I could get to the door, was in his truck and gone. Called up, and all they did after about a week was send a check. The problem was that it was a family heirloom, something with sentimental value, not actual value.
[quote=green]look at it this way... every citizen needs basic healthcare,
We might need to hold on to certain parts of insurance, to administer the system. I'm not that sure that what the gov't has set up for Medicare would be up to the task of administering the volume of patients that would be created. Also, are we going to have a parallel system ,based on private payor insurance, to cover elective procedures such as liposuction, botox, face lifts etc. ?
[quote=green]s**t! and I wasted a half hour coming up with a plan for trump... well what am I going to do with it? here it is anyway:
TRUMPCARE 2017
Amendment to the 1935 Social Security Act (proposed changes in red)
Universal healthcare is a great idea, and should be put into play. The problem,as I see it , is that funding it is going to take a massive rewrite of the tax codes. As it stands, funding for Medicare as it is now is barely keeping up with demand. Most people have to get a supplemental policy to make Medicare anything near what private insurance thru an employer covers.
The only way I see that would enable US to do such a thing is a flat tax on EVERY ONES income, before any deductions. It would not be a small amount either. I believe some of the countries with socialized medicine pay close to 1/3 of their income to taxes for their healthcare. Perhaps some of our British friends will let us know what their tax burden is, and if they consider it worthwhile.
Everything is happening now, at the same time. Our brains apply a set of filters that only allow us to see part of what is out there. Which is why crazy people are crazy; they are being bombarded with information that they can't process fast enough. See "Doors Of Perception" by Aldous Huxley
That's already here. Called a submarine.
Political Correctness at its worst. We could use a numbering system, but everyone would have to be #1 ,so no feelings would be hurt.
I wonder if any tobacco from Washington's farm ever was sold to an English company? Or if he handed control of his business to Martha? Oh wait, were women allowed to be in control of such commerce?
