I’ve used MBP a couple of times and it’s been seamless. I know others may have had some issues but got me so far so lucky!

Thanks for the Monday morning education! Quesrion: it was always drummed into me that whatever (at the time);the film ASA was, that’s where you set the camera and shot. The only film I ever pushed was Tri X. But you used an ISO of 100 with 200 color neg film and compensated by changing the ev? Is there any kind of formula for this? Just curious…..thx.

Robert’s Camera is mentioned frequently on the UHH forum with positive comments. Maybe give them a shout? I done some business with MBP with favorable results. With Adorama, not so much. Good luck!

Trying to compare film to digital is an endless conundrum. There is no “better”. It’s about what makes you happy and gives you satisfaction and pleasure. If you get into the Fujiworld, you can have a mirrorless camera with numerous film simulation settings which do give results similar to the film it is trying to emulate. Kind of gives you the best of both worlds. I have a Nikon F3 and an FE from years ago that I occasionally use as I love the noisy mechanics. Plus, it takes me back to a simpler time and the anticipation of getting pictures back from a lab. And it’s not cheap which is why I use them “occasionally”.

Great set! Brings back so many childhood memories. The Buick is especially spectacular. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Has anyone in Fujiworld updated with the new firmware? I have an xt3….is this something I should do? I’ve never done this before. If needed, What is the best way to do it? Download on a card or plug the camera directly into the computer?

Thanks in advance

USPS has lots of "issues" of late. I wouldn't trust them to actually pay a claim either, if it comes to that. I've had some issues with Fedex as well. A shipment last month took almost 3 weeks. UPS seems to be the most reliable of late.

Yeah…I’m kind of kicking myself for not using UPS. Lesson learned.

I’ve never had this happen before so I’d appreciate any positive advice. I consummated the sale,of a camera with a fellow UHH member and mailed it Thursday of last week via USPS Priority mail. Was supposed to deliver Monday of this week although the PO doesn’t guarantee that. I keep getting messages it is running late but in transit. Its been somewhere between Memphis and Arkansas since Monday of this week. I went to the post office yesterday and was told it’s in transit and not last. Clerk said if it’s not delivered in a couple days come back and ask again. What? When is it considered lost? Yes, it’s insured and PayPal is holding the funds. This is frustrating at best.

Thanks in advance…

Having been there several times, I have never found a need for a long zoom. Whether being in a city (new or old), the desert or the mountains, I always found my 16-80:zoom worked great. The cities and markets are very tight but make for a great photographic journey. If anything, I would take an extra wide fast prime for low light and extremely tight shots. One suggestion…there is so much to see and enjoy in that wonderful country try not to see it all from behind a camera. Have a great trip. You can’t help but have a great time there!

Not sure if this is helpful but I had something similar on a LUMIX lx100. Took it on a trip to Morocco somehow, and I was careful, sand got into the zoom mechanism when we were in the desert. This caused the camera to zoom only part way and when it got to 50mm I received the same error message you are referring to. I sent it Panasonic service and they wanted more to fix It than it was worth. Not sure this is what’s causing your problem but your error message rang a bell.
