Always get 3 estimates or more is a good thing to follow. I have saved enormous amounts of money in recent years by doing this in the price of a new car and surprisingly in dentistry. It's a great way to "keep them honest".

Beats me.
I never notice in what section anything is posted, I just read the posts.
They're in my feed.

But some are sticklers for "protocol".....
Either that or OCD.
...We have some English majors here also.

The "default section" for posting is the last section you were viewing.
People simply don't bother looking or changing it.

Me too!

You know there is a manual, right?

Anyway, once you see the phone icon in your computer you just need to go into the network connection, select USB properties and select transfer file.

If you do not know where that is, just use the search funccton and ask for USB properties.

Simple enough IF YOU READ THE MANUAL.

As to the location? DCIM directory.

What manual? When I bought my current Google Pixel 7 new a year ago . . . there was no manual with it.

Thank you for this. I have a Pixel 7 (also an android device and may be similar to Samsung) and are wondering the same thing. Gone are the days when companies that manufactured complex "anything" almost always included an instruction manual. I wish companies would return to this practice. They should include the cost of printing this instruction manual in the price of the equipment. I do not think anyone would have a problem with paying for this.

If one has memory problems . . . that is usually a valid reason not to do jury duty.

In yesterday's newspaper, the county executive called for "enhanced enforcement of traffic laws." Driving home this morning, there was a police car with radar. A few miles later, there was a state trooper. What I thought was interesting was that the trooper had his radar gun aimed at cars that had just passed him. If you think you are safe after you pass the radar, think again. The area where I've seen the most radar is on a four-lane, 45 mph stretch of Route 28. When it goes to two lanes, they don't bother very much. I like cruise control.

I like cruise control too. On my 2021 Accord the cruise control is the best one I have had yet. It has removed much of the annoyance of driving in traffic and on the highway. It helps me stay within legal speed limits without needing to try. And it also helps a little in the MPG department. This same car also has a dashboard readout device (next to the speedometer) that tells me what the legal speed limit is almost everywhere in the city. The speed limit shows change automatically as I pass speed limit signs as located on the sidewalk. One foot driving is mostly possible with this cruise control.

I have a hunch that these people you are talking about "that used to sit out on their porch" have now chosen to sit inside the comfort of their home . . . and watch TV instead!

I sometimes wonder why a almost exact replica of this car is not made today. It could have many of the up to date mechanical features that many people would want. It could even have a electric or hybrid engine, etc., etc. I'll bet there is a market for such a beautiful car.

It depends on the shape of the round-a-bout (remember we drive on the left side). If 4 roads I treat it the same as a cross intersection. Taking the first road off it is a left turn (left blinker), next off road is the same as going straight through so no blinker, last off road (assuming you are not going back the way you came) is a right turn so right blinker. If you see these blinkers you know where the car is going. Most round-a-bouts are 4 roaders here. If multiple roads off the round-a-bout then it is usually larger so if you see a car going round with a left blinker going what does it tell you that is useful ? It tells you that maybe the driver just forgot to turn his blinker off, or it can mean he turned it on early and is planning on turning off at some stage. You just don't know. Maybe he is going around twice (it happens) so no blinker yet. Personally I wait until it is obvious where the car is going. So blinkers mean nothing and do not help. If blinkers were so important then why aren't they made bigger and more obvious and a standardised shape and position ?
My grandfather never had an accident. He used to drive and treat other road users as if they were lunatics. I try and do the same.

I live in Palm Springs, CA. Here I would (in a undocumented way) guesstimate that from 50% to 80% of driver do NOT use their turn signals. When I am behind these people . . . I need to guess what they are going to do. Good luck.

Very nice photos and thanks for sending them. But I am still a fan of seeing mostly the whole car . . . as instead of photographing only a small part of the car (which is popular today) . . . such as a grill or a fender, etc.

Hey guys, how do you like the "new" shortened zippers on your jeans? I curse the z%$#& (probably female) bean counter who decided shorten the zipper on my jeans by 1 1/2 inches in order to save a few cents every time I try to get my hand in there to do what it has to do. I don't have a big hand, I take a medium glove but I can't get more than two or three finger in there and sometimes the extra time it takes is too much. I would gladly pay ten times what they have saved to get a full length zipper back. It seems that many manufacturers are now getting on the bandwagon. What can we do?

Perhaps if everyone that reads these words . . . write emails to some of the MFG's of men's pants and complains about the trend to pockets not deep enough . . . and also zippers to short . . . some of the MFG's will decide to give us what we want . . . at a higher price, but that's OK.

I have been to this museum twice. It is the best car museum I have seen in my life. What a shame this museum cannot continue.

I've been reading UHH for probably at least 20 years. Ocassionally I have something to say. Reading UHH has become a morning habit for me. One in a while something terrific appears in UHH and I want to save it. I will be 90 on May 2 and I haven't any idea how much longer I'll be reading it in the morning. All the best to UHH readers . . . wherever you are.

I am truly sorry to read all the negative press about Boeing in recent years. Have spent most of my life in Seattle (63 years) and do remember when Seattle was known as a "one horse town" as far as employment was concerned.
