I second Jerome (ghost town with more people than ghosts!). Get a pic of the old gas station on the way in if it is still standing. A couple of parking lots. You can stop for lunch and see the town in 1-1 2/3 hours. In TGC, get to a sunrise spot early (need to drive because buses do not run that early). Take the buses around TGC as you can get on and off at numerous spots for photos. Wide angle 16MM and 150MM will suffice.

Try Jerome, Tuzigoot National Monument, Montezuma Castle and Well, Clarkdale Copper Museum, Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff rather than wasting time in same old over cliche'd Sedona. Then go see Grand Canyon. Early morning and Late afternoon in the canyon for great light and shadow, if you are lucky enough there might be a thunderstorm to add drama. Think of the Canyon cliche shots and try to be different there are so many opportunities up and down the rim road to stop and get different views.
