I have a question concerning the price of Fuji cameras like the X-E3. Will there be any increase in the future of these cameras?
Can't find my crystal ball!
This is a political question! But the odds are that as we and our trading partners tax each others exports, the prices will go up. About half the country wants the economic chaos because they believe there will be long term benefits. The other half prefers the benefits of stable world trade.
If you need an excuse to buy a Fuji sooner rather than later, this is a good one.

If things end up stabilizing as some suggest, including the president, then only limited numbers of products will have price increases and you may see no significant increase in the price of the X-E3. However, If this is the beginning of a trade war as some other people suggest, then the price increase on the Fuji will be the least of your problems. A lot of people may not realize what a huge percentage of consumer products we have in this country made in China. Many are products that are simply not even made in the United States any more, like cameras.

I tried to buy an ordinary electric drill made in the USA. It is not possible unless you find one in an antique mall.

Every big power tool in my woodworking shop has a made in USA sticker. That may have changed since I bought them, but my Delta (which has since changed hands I believe), and DeWalt Tools all have made in USA stickers. Now some of my Porter Cable hand power tools are made in USA and some probably (unfortunately) offshore.
Edit: I was wrong. the Deltas - yes, but my Powermatic long bed jointer says Taiwan.
There will be a trade war. China will not roll over gracefully.
That will increase prices.

As much as I h**e to agree with the president on some things, in my opinion, China has been treating the US unfairly on theft of intellectual property, trade imbalance and currency manipulation for years. Now whether this is the correct path to remedy the problems, I can’t say, but it does need to be addressed - about time.
