[Sorry but at that i had a sigma 10-30 n it mounted on my 1dsiii!quote=MT Shooter]????
Are you referring to the Canon 10-22mm EF-S lens? If so, it is crop sensor only and will NOT mount on a full frame body either.[/quote]

I would really like to see a pic of that Nikon 10-20mm FX lens. Sigma makes a 10-20mm, and Nikon makes a 10-24mm, but neither of those lenses are FX versions and are both DX lenses (DC in Sigma terms).
Unless of course there is a lens out there I am unaware of, and that's entirely possible.

Canons r better because the lenses have a red ring around the edge so they work faster lol.
Its just personal choice u cant go wrong with canon or nikon.

My answer to you is, "the one in my hands". You are trying to find the best "all around" camera and there is no such thing. Decide what kind of shooting you are going to do the most of and buy a camera for that purpose. It then becomes "the one in your hands" for all other situations and you just have to learn how to best use it for those situations.

The best "all around" camera is any camera in the hands of the best "all around" photographer.

Why? It is a lot smaller than many other suggestions here and a lot faster to use.

He could have the aperture too slow for the shot he is taking which can focus lets say on a subjects forhead instead of eyes.

There is the potential for camera issues, either fine-tuning the AF or the focus issues the first D800s had. But until the OP has made sure he is using the best settings and technique, I wouldn't tackle the potential camera issues.

A raw file has no color, no sharpening, color space, contrast enhancement, saturation or white or color balance. What you see on the back of the camera or in Lightroom etc when you open it is the jpg preview that reflects those settings. With a raw file you are free to apply as much or as little adjustment to all of those parameters as you wish. This is true for all cameras as far as I know.
