Lamination is plastic and unless this process/material has vastly improved, won't they yellow after a few years especially in heavily lit areas?

I have a few 18x24s that have been hanging in a brightly lit place for about 5 years now and so yellowing so far. Don't know about the 8.5x11s - hanging in a bright livingroom and no yellowing with them either. Of course they aren't in direct sun light either. And the lamination in the sizes is different also. The 18x24s have a 1.5 ml layer while the 8.5x11s have a 3 ml layer. As I said, have seen no yellowing in either yet.

I have anything that's going to be hanged laminated. I bought a $35 laminating machine and 8.5x11 laminating sheets (100 to a box) and do my own. For my 18x24s I work with a company down in Nashville, Tn. They do all my enlargements and laminate them for a very reasonable price. Laminating I've never had any problems no matter what the weather does. Plus the lamination brings out the details in a photo and makes it look more richer. LOVE the painting on the bike!! The horse shots are good too but for me the bike wins out. Someone is one darn good artist - alot of work and creativeness went into that

Don't know what program you're working with but where you used the fill light is there a shadows bar? If so try to darken the pic just a touch.

The eyes tell the story - Cuba Libre or not. The total facial structure is absolutely beautiful. The shadows, the skin tone, the pinkish lip stick - gloss(?) - but the eyes - she's having fun and wants more. Any chance you can catch her behind the bar working and capture some facial expressions?

Beautiful picture - like all of yours are - and here comes the "but". lol lol Background too dark for her - too much contrast. If it could be lightened just a touch or 2 I think she would blend in nicely. Have a nice day.

I like how you applied a mellow tone to the picture. Everything blends in perfectly. And she has a subtle touch of makeup on which adds to the beauty of the picture. I hate those ones with tones of makeup. You did her justice for sure.

WOW!!! Had no idea so much went into making a lens. This was very informative and shows why lenses are so expensive. Can you imagine the cost and knowledge that goes into making the process used? Again - WOW!!!!

Definitely - another cool picture - very cool. I like face shots very much too. And I use an SX40 also - it's amazing how some of the shots come out well in poor lighting when you don't think their going to.

With your PSE program - Best way I found when having a problem is to google it. Example - shadows. In the search engine just type "PSE 9 shadows" and it'll bring up tons of info plus a few youtube video of how to. Youtube is my favorite way of learning. I'm a visual type person - I have to see it.

You do such excellent work with your models. I would think you'd be a very welcome exhibitor at any photo gallery.
