The auto focus on my D3000 quit working. The focus mode options in the menu settings are grayed out and I get an error message stating "This option is not available with currant settings." What do I do? The manual is of no help at all. I have had the camera for some time, and have never had any issues with it.
I own and use a Nikon V1 with two lenses, a lens adapter for use with most Nikon F mount, and a hot shoe flash. The entire kit with charger and bag weighs in at about 3 lb. Check around for priceing, I got mine for $250.
The Redhead and I are going to pop into Yellowstone this afternoon to try and get some pics of bison calfs. Hope to get some worth posting. The trip is sort of our celebration of our 50 years to gether. Damn I love it here...........
Well, I thought it was hilarious and well done. I watched it past the credits and glad I did. Putting giraffes in such an odd scenario seems absurd, but it works here. I say BRAVO !!!

I have a MBP but I must not be doing thing correctly, I take the sandisk out of my camera and just put it in the slot on my computer . All my photos load in aperature . Should I be using that thing you call a card reader????
Well for goodness sakes, I have been using a MBP for several years and never noticed that slot. To bad my primary camera uses CF cards. Thanks
Did you see anything besides the tripod? I am headed to West Yellowstone Friday.
A few bull bison along the Madison, and one bunch of cow elk. There were a lot of Bison near Mammoth. We saw one cow elk with a calf near Obsidion cliff. No one I talked to had seen a bear.
Have fun! We might going up again next weekend for a day trip.
Yippers! I watched it for a bit over an hour hoping that someone would come back. They didn't, so I left it at the appropriate location. I know there are a number members from this area that were planning to go into the park this weekend, so I posted it here in case it was left behind by one of them. You never know
