I'm glad that I'm not the only one who sees things in water (or the sky), etc. ghostly looking. Cheryl :-)
If you have a local camera shop, I'd ask them if the lens is compatible to the rebel XSi. I don't see why it wouldn't, but something isn't right. Or if in doubt, call Canon. I find that the onlline chat with Canon works well. Perhaps the lens box or manual says the Canon cameras that it is compatible with. Good luck, keep us posted. Cheryl
Wow, they are such beautiful birds! Thanks for posting. Cheryl
I have tried to shoot at night or dusk in rain; although, the colors are saturated, they do tend to be very blue (prior to the blackness of the sky turning to night). Your photo looks to me a bit too blue and maybe needs to be toned down. The added fog is problematic. For me, I'd try to make the fog look a bit more gray, rather then blue. I hope someone here can help you with your question. Cheryl
I subscribe to both Popular Photography and Outdoor Photography, prefer Outdoor better. Not digital - good old fashioned, paper! Cheryl
Hey that's one way to get people to look at your posts...lol Cheryl
Yes, I sure do because I'm lazy and don't want to keep changing the lens on one camera to a different lens. this was I cover a lot of ground. A little heavy to carry at times, but, that's how I roll. Cheryl
I really like the foggy photo. I love the Fall, so many great photo opportunities. Thanks for sharing. Cheryl
I really like this one. They are so hard to get, even when landed. So, how did or where did you focus? Manually, what were your settings? I love it. Cheryl
Thanks for sharing. My favorite is the third photo, good perspective...something different. Cheryl
It's nice, you should run though! He looks mean. I like the composition. Cheryl
Hi Erv: I like the second photo best. Cheryl
Hi Arthur: First time, good job. It looks like you captured the spirit of the children, which is good. I do like that you blurred the background. A few observations, don't crop at the joints and avoid cropped the top of the baby's head. Always make sure the eyes are sharp. Things to use a reflector and fill flash, which you may or may not have used. Maybe if you wanted to use props, ball is fun for a young child. I do like the necklace on the little girl, shows her personality. By the way, my favorite pic is the first one. I like to use a telephoto lens, flash and reflector with a shallow depth of field for my photos of people. Keep practicing, you are off to a good start. Cheryl
I like the old stuff too. Not a lot of it around, except for the museums and not too many people left who know what it is...thanks for sharing. Cheryl
