I subscribe to the digital version on the I pad, all my magizine subscriptions are electronic now. I can carry a full years worth of issues from several magizines. It great when you travel.
I also use an app called Zino for my magizines, they have a good selection of photo mags for single issue or subscription

I get Pop Photo and Outdoor photo - print versions. I suppose I should get the digital form of both. Both mags have lots of ads - which isn't all bad. The have good reviews, how to, and articles. For under a dollar a copy, I can't complain.

What's the cost for that, and can you also read it on your computer?

I've subscribed, like Jerry, to both Pop and Outdoor - 'bout ready to discontinue both when the subscriptions are up. My mind is starting to say "Hey, haven't you already read that, albeit in different words?"

Right, but at least it keeps my current on new products and trends. They do have good tips and suggestions in most issues. For a buck a copy, I can take the bad with the good, although digital sounds appealing.

Digital is appealing however seems to me digital versions lack some of the content in the hard copies.

I bet they don't omit any of the ads. I think that if you pay for the paper edition, you should be able to get the digital version, too. That might wean people away from the paper copy and save the company money, aside from the savings in paper use and manufacturing.

If you subscribe, you can also receive the digital version at no extra cost. That's generally true for all mags that provide digital versions.

That's pretty subjective. Personally, I think it is worthwhile and I get a lot of good info from most editions, even though there are a lot of ads. I also subscribe to Outdoor Photographer and Shutterbug and enjoy them as well. It's not uncommon to find some "extras" in the online edition that was not in the print copy.

It's great if you want to read nothing but camera reviews and see a million ads. As far as anything to help improve technique forget it.

I subscribe to Popular Photography, Outdoor Photography and Digital Photography in paper form. You get online subscriptions automatically. I really like the paper forms better. I can keep up to date on the newest stuff and keep learning about the things I've forgotten about. I cut out articles and ads and file them away.

It's also nice to see the photographs in print and not just on a monitor sometimes.
My wife cuts out all the ads before I can view them.

To cut out the ads does she just shred the entire magazine?
