Huh? Sorry, way too late. At the end of WW2 the "populate or perish" call was put out by the then Liberal Govt and they let heaps of people in, not just 10 pound poms but from all over Europe. Go to Cooma for example. Thornleigh was "little Italy". There were signs in shops "Shop here before the day goes" ie 'degoes' being sland for Italians.
