The one in Evansville, IN closed in a dying mall after many decades. Just not enough traffic after a new, larger mall opened in town. SAD
I have been using this tool for a long time and all of a sudden (without making a selection) the circle is filled with a white/grey pattern. I can't get rid of it. Any ideas? PSE12 windows 10
I am talking about when getting pics from my camera into PSE12 organizer, there is no filename with the thumbnails. This is after choosing "restore default". Thumbnails and (as I found later) all my photos in the catalog have no filename. The metadata information is there, but does NOT show up with each thumbnail. Only date and time. Couldn't find anything in preferences for Catalog.
Longshadow, I have Windows 10 and was editing in PSE 12.
I mistakenly hit restore to default and now photos from camera don't show filename, only date and time. How do I restore that?

I searched for this question and couldn't find it. When using SHB sometimes the cursor is a circle (which I like) and sometimes a plus sign (which I don't). How do you change from one to the other?

RWilson, Even with the lens 6" from the subject, the focus stays the same from end to end????
I can move the slider from one end to the other and the focus doesn't change.
I have a new Velbon Super Mag Slider for fine focusing. When I put it on the tripod and attach camera it will slide back and forth, but the focus doesn't change. Canon 6D, 100mm Macro lens, set on manual focus on the lens and in the camera. Focusing ring on lens works. What am I doing wrong? Help please.

This is not the usual post about finding missing files, etc. I know that all editing, deleting, etc has to be done inside PSE or files will turn up missing. Question is .....if there are several copies of photo in File Explorer, can all be deleted except one and not cause a problem?
