I did exactly the same thing with my A7r during a trip to the Colorado Rockies a few months ago and didn't realize it until I got home and viewed my photos on my MacBook Pro. The bad part was when I opened the files at home all the images automatically loaded onto my i-phone and i-pad as well so I was not happy. I spent a couple hours deleting all the extra photos on all 3 devices. The duplicated images all looked the same except the 3rd one looked to be very slightly warmer so I finally figured it out. Somehow, during my week of shooting I unknowingly switched the white balance bracketing off so luckily only about 200 or so shots were affected and not all 600+.

It is sad that there are many people wasting their lives on drugs. However, I know people who partake in weed only once or twice a month. They are highly educated, prominent people of society. They started the weed ritual to keep them away from alcohol. They use it like some use wine. One glass of wine (or one joint or pipe or whatever they use) breaks the stress of a bad day, allows them to relax for 15-30 minutes then they go about life as usual.

Penny, refreshing to see an intelligent, informed comment!

Dirtpusher, good for you on your business.

I grew up in the 60's and retired from my job of 30+ years in a large corporation where I became internationally known and respected in my field of expertise. I traveled extensively, took care of my family, paid all my bills and have always been a responsible citizen.....and I do a couple hits every day since the late 60's. All my brain cells are still intact and I am obviously not a loser or a dirtbag.

Most folks who are quick to express their opinions on the subject of weed only believe what they have been told by the inexperienced and have no direct experience themselves.

Not true. There is a direct link between chronic use of marijuana and profound depression, suicide, mood disturbances, loss of initiative and lack of personal drive. Recent research is discovering what are thought to be permanent changes in brain chemistry and function due to THC ingestion. Don't be fooled..."mother nature's miracle" is not the innocuous, harmless drug some would want you to believe. It most certainly is not "medicine." It is the real deal, particularly given the extraordinary potent strains that are being cultivated these days. Any addiction medicine specialist will tell you that just about every one of their patients that are being treated for addiction to harder drugs started their drug use with marijuana. It it most definitely a "gateway drug." Not only that, but the largest percentage of their patients are those trying to address their addiction to the "harmless, non-addictive" marijuana.

Try sitting in front of a dispensary and watch the clowns going in and out all day. 95% of them are just dirtbags and losers. Hmmm...the question is which came first...the dirtbag or the weed?

Funny you should say that! I was on vacation in Colorado in September and visited three different dispensaries. I saw people young and old and saw no one that appeared to be a "dirtbag" or a "loser" as you mention. Actually just the opposite. And the dispensaries were spotless, very well organized and professionally run.......and no "dirtbags" working there.

It's sad isn't it seeing how many businesses there are opening. Then they wonder why there are so many people mentally ill. It's obviously why if you know they have been involved with that, which many have been.

Mentally ill?........I just heard the Brooklyn Bridge is up for sale again!

I posted this because I thought it was really funny but it has turned ugly with all the racist comments. Please let this last post of mine be the final one that has anything to do with race and this funny video. Thanks so much!

Bert, I thought the video was funny too and I didn't see it as a racist oriented video at all. Never even thought of that. But the post from Don Rent certainly was. If I was the Admin here I would have tossed him out of the Hog. That kind of thinking does not belong here.

I have seen the SX50 referb listed several times on Canon's website for $149 since Christmas. Just have to get there at the right as word has gotten around and they go fast. I bought a new one a couple of years ago for $369 and I am very happy with it even at that price. I have purchased 2 more refurbished SX 50's for the $149 price and both appear to be brand new. I shoot Canon DSLR and Sony A7r and I have been amazed at the IQ from the tiny sensor in the SX50. It has become my walk around camera as it is small, lightweight and I can count on good images.
Good luck......

That's a conflicting and disingenuous statement. First you say that it is not the gear but the photographer, for which I agree. Then you sell your Nikon in favor of the Olympus. Aren't you really saying, use the the gear necessary to get the job done? I have no idea what Nikon you sold, but perhaps it was 500, 200-400? Both of those lens would be inappropriate for weddings or an inside hotel shoot. The blanket statement,"I sold my Nikon equipment without details gives the impression, that the Oly was better than your Nikon. I think that is an over generalization. Photography is more specific than that.

In a mirrorless camera like a Sony you are shooting through a filter and must suffer some altering of the image. It has been said on this forum that no professional uses such a camera.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Don't respond if you are totally clueless.
