Thank You.
The lighting is from the sky, mostly cloudy today. As my feeder, with branch attached, is portable and gets moved around during the day, the background is either my lawn, or the weeds in the adjacent field. I try to shoot at a slightly downward angle. I wasn't sure what MFA was, and had to look it up. So, to answer your question, none was done.
My PP included some cropping for composition and to keep my favored aspect ratio, minor levels adjustment, resize (optimized to 150KB) in PS, then unsharp mask (250 / .2 / 0).
Almost forgot - I usually magnify the eyes to where I can pick out the brightest pixel. That one pixel gets 'painted' white, once or twice. If I use flash (none lately) and get two catch lights, I eliminate one.

Regarding the catch lights, see my response to imagemeister.

Thanks Bob.
I do have a very sturdy tripod with an original Wimberley gimbal head. However, when shooting the controls are completely loose to take advantage of VR.
