I was a nice sunny 70 degrees and headed over to a local pond to try out my new canon 2x teleconverter.
As I indulged my other hobby, smoking a good cigar, this lovely young lady came along and took a break from work.
Thanks for all the info guys!
I just bought a Canon 2X teleconverter and plan to use it with my F2.8 70-200. I know I lose 2 F-stops with it. My question is, if I'm on a monopod, do I turn IS on or off?
Just a little street food to go with the street photography
Shot these with a speedlite .. how can I improve
Wow absolutely stunning. What a great capture!
With part of the pictures in deep shadow I decided to do HDR.
This little guy just sat and posed while I took the shot .. busy munching on a leaf
They were shot on a tripod. It's possible that I missed setting the focus to infinity.
I'm not near as happy with mine as I am with what I've seen already posted here. These were shot with ISO 100, @ 55mm. F10 in bulb. Any suggestions for improvement would be appreciated.
I am officially jealous. The shots I took last night didn't come out near as well as the ones I've seen posted.
Went for a walk in downtown Ft. Worth and noticed the reflections in the windows. This was a 12 shot hand held panoramic processed in LR. First time posting here.
Well I guess it really isn't a panoramic but I'm not sure what to call it.

Thanks MT just the info I was looking for.
I'm going to shot a protective dog training class on Saturday. I'm curious as to initial setting for shooting. The area is mostly shaded. I have a canon 70D and will be using a Tamron F2.8 70-200 with VC. Any thoughts would be helpful.
