Trash it. Sorry. There are too many things to fix. Balance, too bright behind the flag, Boat parts, thirds. The concept is great. Try different angles. The thin flag allowed too much sun. It's a start.

I took this at the back of St Louis Cathedral at night. The halogen lights on the statue were too bright. I captured the statue the next day and made a composit.

I was fortunate to be able to photograph a total solar eclipse. Bracketting was used not to be safe, but 4 different settings gave you 4 different pictures, all good.

DJ, I like your composition too. Great balance. The moon has got to be bigger than life. Your color is right.

Great shot. Keep your best, then can be used for composits when the time is right. I like grey scale, but with color you can tweek them to fit.

Very interesting. I like the shot and the blue grey scale. The blurry birds bother me a bit. I think I would paste in clear birds. I like to see moving vehicles coming into the shot...yours is great.

Save your good moon shots. You can add them to other pictures for great composits.

Olivia, I agree with ahanonamous (sp) I use Canon, but Nikon is equal quality. There is a site that compares to Canon D20, 30, or 40 with the Nikon with a million different things and they are too close to pick one over the other. I have always used the top of line Photoshop, but now use Photoshop Elements. That would get you started. Good luck.

A good moon shot can be added to other pictures for a nice composit. It's still your picture if both were done by you.

Could the flash card SD by HD or the new card and other readers don't recognize it?

#2 is the most pleasing at first glance. It could use a bit of 1/3 balancing. #3 could be cropped a bit, the boat is a bit small.

If you have that many photos that you use a DVD, then you probably would not print them. Put it in your computer and copy the ones you want to print to a flash drive or a cd.
