No adapter. The lens was the G Vario f4-5.6/100-300.

The ISO was 3200.

What may be confusing you is that the Stabilization of the lens does not coordinate with the IS of the GX8 body. Thus, I turned the IS of the lens off, but the body stabilization worked very well.

All M4/3 lenses work with the GX8. The OLY Zuikos do very well.

These are taken w/ Panasonic 100-300 from Row 50 at a night game between Notre Dame and USC. Amazing high ISO and fast focus.

Sorry for last night's empty post. Easy to see why I have trouble mastering a new camera. I hope I have it right this time.

Thank you, don't know how I missed that.

I've had the Sigma DP2 for a couple of years. It's a camera that I use just to see what amazing files may result. It is, however, worthless over ISO 400 and you can't open raw files w/o either Sigma or Iridient's software. Very clunky.

No stabilization, no viewfinder. Frankly, the Ricoh GR is amazing and much more useful, though it is 28 mm.

This camera just arrived. One reason I purchased (among many others) is it has a "one color" feature. On my prior Panasonic G5 it was easy to set which color would be retained. Though I find the "one color" setting under "art" on the mode dial, I simply cannot find how to pick a color! Not even in the 398 page PDF manual. Please help.

I have an Oly MD-1, a Canon 5D lll, and I use the A6000 with the Zeiss 16-70 almost all the time. Attached is a shot taken yesterday of Boone Pickens' Papillion, Murdoch. You can't go wrong with that package.

Wonderful shots. May I ask if you used a tripod for these?

Look into the reviews of the Ricoh GR. You won't be sorry.

I worked at the Baker Castor Oil Company in Bayonne (just under the Bayonne Bridge to Statn Island many years ago. The Bridge is interesting, there is a nearby high end golf course with amazing views of the NYC skyline, Bayonne itself is not in great shape these days. Nice views of the Kill Van Kull.

Also, I find that Photos will copy all your pictures and will thereby take up a huge amount of space on your hard drive (which will also have the same photos that iPhoto does.)

Picasa simply doesn't work as well on an Apple as it did on my PC.

IPhoto is still on your computer although it's icon is gone and Photos icon is present. The editing function is very different, but not bad once you get used to it. You can find iPhoto listed in your Applications.

The biggest issue I have with Photos is that you can't easily email from it. Apple want the Photos in the Cloud and to be viewed on social media.

I'm just leaving Prague. Our group included one pro photographer, he shot film and used only the V-Lux for digital. He praised it highly.
