Would not be wise to stand your ground as another stated, as it could bring the next level of security to your stand. Why not approach the parties that be and ask permission to get a nice shot of that aircraft. That would not bring suspicion on your intent. 911 has changed the environment of these things!

not all computers have the software to read specific formats. It is like sending a .docx word file to someone who has the 2003 Office suite. Newer formats require updated software to view them.

As a PhotoShop guy, I'd want to remove the hot orange and move some cyan forward, reduce contrast, increase brightness and perhaps crop the outer corners from the scan. Since it is an afternoon or early morning shot, it will be tough to make it look daylight. Just some thoughts.
