Superb shots.
Thank you very much angler, if you ever get on this side of the pond, I would love to have you come with me and possibly see these eagles.

Wow. What a great set. Thank you for sharing.
Funny, depends on where you live what you love.
I have friends in Alaska and there are so many bald
eagles there that they consider them a nuisance.
Thank you very much. I know what you mean, I have been fortunate to shoot bald eagles in Alaska as well but I have come to love these birds.

Thank you very much for looking and for the nice comment.
It won't be long before the young one flies.

Not doubting you... just stating that there are problems with the system... whether or not they can be fixed is another issue altogether.
I recently spoke to a USPS employee who told me that his supervisor has been on paid, STRESS LEAVE for the past two years. Think things like that might have something to do with the problem?
You have seen Canada geese many times on here but these are Texas geese! The parents came here undocumented but they were granted a pardon by the Governor, or a bartender or some old cowboy but just exactly who is not important. I was there when they were made certified Texas citizens (at least, I think I was :-)) Anyway, they promptly created four genuine, certified Native Texans and here they are!

After bringing in a small fish, a mere 15 minutes after I arrived at 6:20, the parent landed on the NEAR shore - yippee! It stayed there for an hour, while the spot went from full shade to full sun. So neat :)
I was surprised to see no squabbling over the meal. The hierarchy is well established, apparently.
Canon SX50 burst mode at equiv. 1200 mm, edits in PSE 12 and Topaz Detail. Several are heavily cropped.

Everything the government touches it screws up. Privatize the VA and get our veterans the quality help they need and have earned.

Yes. Why do we need the VA? Give the vets vouchers/insurance for the best private health care they can find.

I'm ahead of you...as always. I suggested the other day that the vets be incorporated into the regular health care system. Around here, a VA center isn't available unless you want to drive hundreds of miles. Something should be done since they're getting sub-par care and think they're getting great care.
