Gawd some of the topics here are so meaningless any more. Questions like this and some of the answers are like Ford or Chevy gear-head conversations. What does it matter? They both do the same thing.

It comes down to personal preference and neither brand will make you a better photographer the same as neither vehicle will make you a better driver. Practice and experience are the only things that will.

This site is getting as bad as face book....make ANY comment, and one is sure to answer with negativity! So, that being said, bombard me with negativity, and I will ask God to bless you eternally!

Amen and God help you if your view or opinions don't agree with others.

I would go with the 7100 or 7200 for the focus motor and additional features but hell the OP never asked about that.

Thing to remember here is it is a forum with different views on everything but with the snark comments being made I would Google it and usually do to avoid all the snark who reside here to jump on others.

I have posted photos and paintings on Fine Art America—made about $200 in the last 4 years. Photography really doesn’t sell these days so do not expect much.

Photography that sells usually serves a purpose: advertises a business, its services, products, and employees or photography for travel, web sites, head shots, portraits etc. if people can make money using your photography it will sell.

Brent you have some nice images on FAA but you only have less than 1000 views since 2011.

Most POD sites will require you to do your own marketing in order to be seen and to get sales. It is a lot of work to sell online.

FAA is 30 a year. Red Bubble and Society6 are free. These are some of the big players out there. There are many more 8f you Google POD sites. But as stated before it is not a get rich quick deal and requires a lot of non Photographic work to get sales.

A lot of misinformation in you op. I have been published in magazines printed on just about every thing offered and not once has anyone ever asked for a tiff file. BTW they all printed fine.

As far as degrading every time it is just opened. Really? Who told you this?

Never mind this will be attic bound too.

All I can say is these events are always used to promote political agendas and shame on all of you who do so. Senseless tragedies happen in life, always will happen, and you can't prevent them.........

Nobody, but nobody is talking about taking guns away from you! Saying so is simply not true and only makes passing sensible gun laws more difficult.

Oh really? Making my opinion that does not agree with yours makes you upset. Tell me what IS your solution?

One of the worst school massacres occured in Bath Michigan May 18, 1927. This was done with dynomite k*****g 45 in total. Where there is a will they is a way and taking all guns away from law abiding people is not the solution.

Terrorist attacks now like driving large vehicles into crowds of people mowing them down. Should we ban all large vehicles too then? This person was troubled as they all are and have no respect for life even their own. Most are on some type of medication that causes more harm than good and then they quit taking it and watch out.

There is no easy way to prevent this type of thing from happening but they will turn to other methods if they can't get guns.

I have 4 guns in my house and not a one has been fired in 20 years so why should I have them taken away? I have them as a means to protect myself and my property if needed. It is within my right as a human being to protect my family and my life.

One of the worst cities in the US for gun murders is Chicago and they have some of the strictest gun control laws. Punks thugs and psycho's do not follow the law the rest of us do. If they did there would be no need for laws in the first place.

This goes much deeper than taking guns away and will not stop even if you do.

I use dvd as a backup mainly because I think it is foolish to put all your eggs in one basket. With a disc system if one fails you only lose that one not everything. Electronic devices all fail in time and all the studies I have read show discs last longer.

As far as not having devices to read them in the future? Vinyl records are of no use now after 100 years because there are no means to play them?

How many dvd players have you been through in the past 20 years? But the discs I have for the same length of time still play today. Well cared for discs will last a lifetime.
