I've never heard of that brand. Or, are you referring to the photos of peppers done by Edward Weston?

Worth some investigation, whilst Steichen's pictures of peppers, amongst other veg, aren't as well reviewed as Weston's, they are fine pictures in their own right. Perhaps more famous for his picture of the Flatiron Building, Steichen was an accomplished photographer.

Good luck with the sale, but I think you're being very optimistic with your valuation and I'd suggest you try checking 'sold' prices on eBay. The AE1-Program is a lovely camera though.

The couch is not really level. It would just need a minor adjustment.

Let's hope the OP's wife isn't a photo judge lol...

Nice work. The left side needs to be dropped to straighten the whole thing a bit.

perhaps but the tilt is in the background, the chair is reasonably level?

That looks great - how'd you do that?

copied whole picture as a layer, applied a very heavy 34 Gaussian Blur to layer, then used the Polygon Selection tool around dogs and chair, then 'erased' that area on top layer, finally to give you more pixels I put it through Topaz Gigapixel on a x2...

Guess it's the compression they use to load these on the www? Best way to view is to use the 'download' facility if the OP selects it as an option when creating their post?

So, to stay true to her vision of erotic and dance elements, to dance as the powerful and erotic representation of the universe it is about the movement of cloths representing reality, samsara; and light representing wisdom/knowledge that is knowable in the great spirit.

Long yes, but I think it clarifies.

I think HCA's tale of the Emperor's new clothes comes to mind, lol, ever think of running for president? Lol!
But thank you for taking the time and trouble to explain, I think I prefer this style rather then yesterday's as my simple, uneducated mind understands it better!
Hope your leg is getting better?

ok, stupid question time. In the previous set of these images, you didn't like my comment about 'removing the lights to improve the last picture' and quoted a style that didn't seem to tie up? Now you post pictures with no lights showing? please explain this different style that you criticised me for suggesting yesterday?

Hey I have Epson XP-830 that is starting to leave extra ink on prints. Totally maddening.

If it helps mine was building up under the heads, especially around the sponges under the park position, reduced it by careful cleaning underneath but decided to use my 12 month guarantee to get it done by Epson, the engineer who looked at it said he hadn't seen it before so they swopped the complete printer for a refurbished one complete with fresh ink and waste tank..

duly chastised, my apologies... I keep putting my Photo Society head on when in reality I should have learned by now that Timmers always has a reason for the way he constructs his images...

But Helen Frankenthaler or not I still think the picture just showing stage and dancer would be my preference. To each their own, and I think Martha Graham's 'Lamentation' would support my view.
I do appreciate the education though, cheers.
Not sure if this link will work your side of the pond but:

I like some better than others in how they turned out, but ALL of them are very artistic. I would crop out the lights on the last image.

Or as an alternative keep the full width but use the clone tool to remove the lights either side and top leaving the stage, the angled sides of which draw you into the figure.

I have one of these, a second one in fact after the first start leaving excess ink on prints and was swapped by Epson. Apart from that I've had no mechanical problems, the set up is straight forward, ink refilling is easy and mess free, (comes with two sets of ink, mine used one set in a year), also has a disposable waste ink tank, (c£6/$10 a time), haven't had to replace mine yet.
Print quality is excellent on all different papers I've used. Haven't really used scanner (A4 and smaller) too much apart from as a copier, (scan and print) which has simple on printer instructions.
Software: I use PSE15 for photos, only hassle I've had is with paper sizes, as it sometimes resets to a different size when making changes so always check final settings before ok'ing PRINT. It has two paper trays internally, will take about 50 sheets of A4 plain paper in one and about 25 sheets of smaller (7x5) in the other, after opening either tray for refilling the on printer screen will ask you to confirm or change paper size and type. Also has a rear feed for up to A3 papers (but sadly won't take A3+, big mistake Epson).
Some of the plastic parts feel a bit flimsy but no breakages yet.
Has facilities to print direct from an SD card or direct from a mobile phone via WiFi.
All in all I'm happy with mine.
Only hint would apply to all inkjet printers is to use it regularly...

Thought about projecting them and taking a picture of the screen image?[/quote

Not sure this would work for this scanner. A couple of weeks ago I didn't get the film holder butted up against the side of the glass... upper left corner of the glass. When I tried to run a scan the scanner would throw an error light and shut down. I thought I mat have left it running too long or something but when I found the holder maligned and put it in place everything was well
Think you might misunderstand me lol
