Went to Conowingo yesterday. Few eagles flying.
I took one of my AE1P. Time to face fact.
It has put on weight. I cannot use it well because of that. My shoulders a mess.
A photo and a list follow. If more info needed please contact me in private.
I will want $500 for the whole kit. It is well kept, used on occasion, and in excellent shape. I pay shipping cost.
Will come ready to load and start shooting. The film has all been freezer kept. Some in, some out of date.
Thanks for looking.
The pictures and the list. More pictures and info private, please.
The list.
A Canon AE1P body and power winder.
15 rolls 36 exp. Film, freezer kept.
Polaris 55-300mm lens.
Cannon 50mm 1:1.8
Canon 70-210mm "macro" lens
Two rings for use with 50mm.
Four piece Vivitar tubes, allow all functions, not just extenders.
A remote shutter wire, some filters and other bits, caps for lens, camera ,etc.
And a backpack.
Bill
I haven't used any of my film gear (Canon, Nikon, Minolta, Pentax, Konica, et al) in years now...
Good luck with the sale, but I think you're being very optimistic with your valuation and I'd suggest you try checking 'sold' prices on eBay. The AE1-Program is a lovely camera though.

show quote)
The major items have total sold on eBay for 235.00 at the high end of sales. The rest of the items are not more than a total of another 20.00 at most and most people would not consider the old film even though frozen. Even 300.00 is optimistic.
So you might consider doing a bit more research and re-post.
When I saw the title of this post I thought it might be the Canon F-1N like the one I used to have but it wasn't to be. Oh, well.
Is its weight the only problem? Are you still desiring to shoot film?
Drop the winder (maybe), the huge telephoto, and unnecessary accessories and bag and you have a perfectly UNheavy camera. Just carry the body, normal and 70-210 lenses.
My Canon AE-1 isn't the Program but the standard black model. I also have the 50mm F1.8 and the winder...Still wouldn't go back to film though.
I just bought an EOS 650 film camera on eBay for $20. It works with all of my EF lenses, has Av,Tv,M,P and one other mode along with autofocus and auto film advance. I have not finished shooting a full roll of film yet but took some shots with it while in Prescott AZ last week while in the snow.
I found out that film processing is done so that only the negatives are processed and then scans are done of the negatives and given to the photographer in digital form instead of actual prints. I guess that's ok since I can simply print them on my printer at home and do it very inexpensively.
I think you are a little too high on your price. Back in the Spring I sold the same kind of Canon AE-1
MISS TAKE: It should read: I think you are little too high on your price. Back in in the Spring I sold the a Canon AE-1 Program with Canon's lenses: 80 to 200 mm// 300mm// 50mm // non-Canon 500 mm lens. Camera carry case. Two rolls of 400 speed film (24 pictures.) Flash unit( Can't remember the name of it.) Sold: $175.00

May be best option.
On the winder. If you shoot both digital and film, you tend not to wind when using film.
Thanks for your response.
