Here are some photo's I thought I'd share & get opinions on. I wanted to try & put HDR & light painting together since I never have so this is what I created. I know the composition isn't great, but I shot these at 1:00 in the afternoon, flat bright light & I didn't worry to much about what I got at the time. These were just test photos. Shot raw files & edited in camera raw. Used photo shop just to sharpen. Don't hit me to hard, remember I'm 62 & colored blind. Don't want to have cardiac t arrest from laughter. Thanks, appreciate your views.

Love water & old buildings
It was a nice day & lots of little critters to shoot
Somekind of a pod that is about to bloom it's silk.
Very Beautiful, Nice Capture. Overall Perfect.

Welcome, Penty - a long time user here going by the alias of "Gessman" is in Denver. With me being a Raiders fan I generally pay him no mind, but he's a fount (or is it font?) of good, useful knowledge anyway. :)
Thanks for the welcome, being in Denver, as you might guess are a Bronco's fan. But hey, it takes two teams to make a game. Being here for only a short while, I'v already have picked up on valuable info. Ya just can't stop learning or ya just stop growing. Thanks for the welcome & have yourself a great day.

Thanks Tom, this was taken upon a pass called Red Cone. It's up there about 10,000 ft. It was absolutely beautiful. That's where the pic of the mountain goat came from also. Unfortunately when your with a large group ya don't get a lot of time to set up & take great photo's, so ya just shoot & get what ya get. Welcome to the site, & thanks for the compliment. This is only my second day here & trying to catch up on everything this site has to offer. We will chat again. Great morning to ya.
It's the truth, it's a great quote, I'd buy one just to read it while I have my cup of Joe. Thanks for sharing.
Here's what I use now to get where I want to go with out a lot of effort. Just a grab shot on top of the Rockie's.
Amen to that. At my age I'm just thankful to wake up in the morning.
Thanks, but I'm sure I'll get some up that you guys will work me over on. Lol. With winter coming my time is limited to get out & shoot. On the road six days a week. Gotta get out & get some new ones. Haven't been able to shoot for the last year & half due to injuries. Lot better now & ready to get get it done.
Appreciate the welcome. Looking forward to getting to know everyone. Thanks.
Thank you. We just had to have a cat that matched our brindle dog. Pic's 2 & 3 were taken with a new ring light I just built.
Thank you for the nice complement. Glad to be here.
Hello to all,
My name is Bob & found this site a few weeks ago. Subscribed to the news letter & have found it to be very full of knowledge & a lot of fun. There are a lot of photographers who know there stuff, & very willing to help out to those in need. I like that.
I have been shooting for 30 years & know how to shoot most things but really have not found my niche as far as what I want to shoot. I like Portraits, a great deal, landscape, wildlife, & HDR. Just an all around shooter.
I'm pretty good using photo shop, light room, camera raw, & photomatix pro. I can usually get out of them what I want to express.
I think one can learn from everyone & should never stop learning so that's why I'm here. To continue to learn & help if I can.
I drive over the road six days a week so don't get a lot of shooting time & probably won't be on the site as much as I would like. My second hobby is four wheeling in Mile High Jeep Club. We get to go to a lot of place's most people don't get to go. Get to see a lot of beautiful scenery, yet don't get a lot of time to set up & shoot.
I've always have shot Pentax & have collected a few, so with so much invested in them I just stay with Pentax.
Here to learn, share, & have fun.
This phot was taken up on our last jeeping trip. There were 10 of them.
This is my little pain in the neck Sassy. Used a new ring light I just built for this shot. Thought it looked pretty nice.
This is one of my son's who helped me build my new ring light. This was just a grab shot using it the first time.
