That's really a piece of history, Millsmote, and I was only two at the time, but can remember my family talking about it many times when I was older. I first read the book "Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo" better than sixty years ago, and several months ago viewed the "Pearl Harbor" movie with our youngest grandson which is sixteen. My wife and I had previously viewed it many times, but this was his first viewing and it really seem to make an impression, as he was not aware of the details, and know you will never forget your dad relaying all the details to you! That was a terrible war and we lost many brave soldiers! Take care!

They don't teach anything about the wars We have been involved in anymore, and why. That's why so many young people are under the impression that We went to Europe and killed so many people and took their oil, land, etc. . . It is a shame that these young people don't realize how many of Our Boys lost their lives so that Europe could be FREE.

Geez, what a beautiful and moving post and images. Since I was a child My Family always had German Shepards. There has always been something about their eyes. So attentive, always a show of love to it's owner, and always of look of wonder. Such a beautiful animal. Jerry, those were enough images for Me to produce tears; the first dog picture did it. Well, I've been on here long enough for now. I need to get back to My Wife's grave site again. Hope Her flowers didn't freeze last night. Her and I were both in the US Army during the Nam era, but We didn't meet in the service. She was Signal Corp in Hawaii and I was a Nike Guided Missile Repairman (Ordnance) in Korea. Please don't get Me wrong here. I was not a hero and am not looking for any praise. All the Ones that didn't make it back home were Heros. God bless.

I wonder at times when everybody has their own idea of two pictures as to which one looks better. No two monitors produce the same contrast, color, sharpness, or brightness. On top of that everybody individually sees color a little different. How do We get around all that?

Beautiful shots. I wonder if they were all done with a drone and if so, did he get special permission to take some of them? The shot over the airport would violate FAA regulations, for example.

Read the descriptions by the pictures. It talks about when He got his pilots license and helicopters and directing pilots over areas so He could take pictures at the right time.

If You think Housewives have a lot of free time to do anything, then it is obvious You have never tried it. It is an eye opening experience trying to do all the things a Housewife has to do. Yes, I have first hand experience before My Wife passed away with cancer.

Well said. It is obvious to Me that You are rather knowledgeable about what You are doing with Your equipment and why You make the decisions that You do with Your images. The images that I have seen You post are very close to what I would like to be able to do, but I need a lot more practice and knowledge. Thank You for Your posts and images. They look fantastic!

PETA has done some really stupid stuff in the past, but this is just down right stupid zhit! Where the hell does these judges come from and who the hell votes them in office? Damn, anybody want to buy year and a half old Nikon D750 with kit lense and a Tamrom 70-300VC all bought from B&H. I am sick and tired of idiots trying their best to ruin everything for everybody else. Now if I take a picture of a wild animal or a domesticated animal for that matter I need to worry about getting sued!?!? Piss off Peta!!!!!!!!!
