Extremely well done - especially No. 2.
Sure makes me want to visit.
Great images all. The last is my favorite - the back glow is priceless.
I prefer the black and white. To me, the blue flannel shirt is distracting. I think I'd also prefer a closer crop to emphasize that weathered cowboy face and lessen the impact of the tree branches in the background.
That said, both are mighty fine images.
My grandmother used to say "nothing truly worthwhile comes easy," and you have provided yet another example of her wisdom.
Great images. Thanks for sharing.
A great example of what is called "hoarfrost."
Great image as well.
I never would have thought to bait them with lobster ... learn something new every day (hehe)
Seriously, awesome shots.
Thanks for sharing.
I like to think he was giving you what he thought you wanted; a no-nonsense NYC street cop look. One thing's for sure, when the you-know-what hits that proverbial fan, I want this guy at my back. :)
Great shot.
Terrific shots. Owls are generally very elusive. You are lucky to get an opportunity to photograph one in broad daylight. I believe this is a barred owl. I am always amazed at the effectiveness of nature's camouflage. Wonderful images. Thanks for sharing.
Great shot ... although the guy in the foreground is distracting. I'd shop (fill) him out of there.
As for the rider surviving the run, I know nothing about the sport, but the angle of the board suggests he will soon exit the tube and glide to shore.

...make that 16 years. See, it's going already. :(
Nice "selfie." I turned 65 on the same day. I hope I look as good in 14 years. :)
I've caught many a walleye out of that lake. Nice capture, Chuy ... and thanks for the memories.
Excellent captures. I like the first one best. That lonely spotlight is a real mood-setter. Really nice.
Beautiful shots. I especially like the one of the red-bellied woodpecker; great timing for a great pose.
And, yes, you certainly do keep them happy. I've never known anyone who put walnuts out for the birds ... really nice all the way around.
A really special shot. I love how the dash of ruby on its head is challenged by the tiny bud on the end of the branch. Kinglets are among my favorites, in part I suppose because I see them only during their brief visit in the fall migration. Thanks for sharing.
