Had a 70-210 that I used on a SRT101 in the '70's. Served me well.
Found this two weeks ago in Metairie.
Thank you.
Tell your son/daughter thanks for their service.
I too am new to the raw format. I posted my first attempt yesterday.
I used Nikon Capture, available for free on the Nikon web site.
Until I learn more, I'll use it as a learning tool.
Welcome to the group and welcome back photo land.
Also used Nikkor 18-300 DX lens.
Thanks for the comment.
D7200 and Nikon Capture.
Learning Camera.
First attempt at post.
Comments welcome.
Made a couple of experimental shots today. Played around with Nikon Capture.
Not sure about it yet.
Just saw this saw this. Gave my SRT101, along with a couple of Vivitar lenses, to a friends niece for HS
photo class. Kept the X700.
Yes, I finally broke down and got me one of them new fangled things with more widgets than I know what to do with.
Loaded both slots, and set up RAW + JPG.
The object now is to find software that is simple enough for an old Luddite like me can pick up quickly without
too steep a learning curve.
Timing accomplished using continuous release
RAW + JPG not an option on the camera I was using
2nd try
Post processing is the next step for me to learn. I would like to see what can be done with this old jpg, dslrd
and what software was used.
Setup: D100, Quantary 28-200 1:3.5-5.6 lens w/uv filter, AUTO mode.
This was my first dslr.
