A very good Sunday morning Mark,

Sorry, but I just couldn't help commenting. I am currently 73 years old and can still distinctly remember (quite likely since the age of 4-5?) my Father, his favorite singer and his favorite song.
Yup, you guessed it - Nat "King" Cole!
He loved the Roger Williams version of "Autumn Leaves" but the "King" and his version always remained his absolute favorite.

Thanks for the memories (no Bob Hope reference / pun intended) and all the best to you and yours,

Terry

Good morning Jack,

Actually a quite excellent composition! Obviously a simple subject but everything (lighting, exposure, composition etc.) work to create an absolutely superb image.
At 73 years of age and having looked at, possibly, several thousands of images since beginning this hobby / passion(?) around 1964 I honestly feel I am a fairly good judge.
But I'm very serious - just excellent!.

All the very best to you and yours Jack,

Terry

Good morning Cindy,

Beautiful images!

At 73 years of age I have had the good fortune to continue (I honestly think I was born with this love) my absolute love for all of the planets wonderful beings (fellow Earthlings) - 2 legs (only occasionally), 4 legs, multi-legged, no legs - essentially all flora and fauna. If it were possible to somehow "adopt" each and every one of our wonderful and non-human beings - I certainly would do so.
But I remain steadfast and absolutely positive that the most beautiful and truly magnificent fellow Earthling (among my personal listing of well over thousands and in my humble opinion) will forever be Equus of the family Equidae - The Horse! - in all of their wonderful varieties, shapes, colors and personalities.
If / when we are finally approached by off-planet visitors (who I feel have been among us for many uncounted millennia) and are queried as to which might be the most beautiful Earthling among us I would have no trouble bringing forth and proudly presenting our "Horse". I really doubt there would be much disagreement among our visitors.
No, I'm not a closet UFO fanatic nor an insane conspiracy theorist and do maintain my sanity completely but the incredible magnificence and beauty of of Earths' Horse simply cannot be restricted or confined to just one planet.
Sorry for being sooooooo.... long winded but just the thought or image of the Horse always brings these thoughts to my mind.

Please keep posting and all the very best to you and yours Cindy,

Terry

Hi again "VZ",

Absolutely my pleasure!
I took mine in 1965 - can't get more "middle" than that.

Again, all the best,

Good morning JN56,

Beautiful. I just tried reversing the image so as to place Polaris to the right and, to me, it looks somewhat better (to me) with the principal object to the right and the darker sculpture to the left.
For some reason - which remains unknown to me to this day (73 years old) I feel an image (depending on content) should progress, either in brightness / intensity / subject being captured, from left to right.

All the best to you and yours,

Terry

Good morning "VZ",

Beautiful image and car!
Looks like a Studebaker Lark to me.
I took my drivers test in one although not a convertible.
Mine had a broken turn signal when I took the test but I managed to conceal that and as my Examiner sat to my right it wasn't that hard. Never forgot to use it or turn it off as it would have were it in working order.

All the best to you and yours,

Terry

Good morning "EL"

Looks absolutely delicious "eh"? ( one of my all time favorite Canadianisms). I'm not sure that is even a word - but it is as of now.
I sincerely hope you enjoyed the holidays as well.

All the very best to you and yours,

A very good morning "Dhank,

I actually hope that when you eventually recovered from this experience you gave your cow and the bull some nice scratches / pets on their forehead (or wherever else the have preferred) and some extra hay for that day. I guess they were just being what they are and were simply having some fun. Although at your expense.
For some reason I would like to think that's exactly what you did.

All the very best to you and yours (cow and bull included),

Good morning Mike,

Number 9 is my favorite.
Is / are the structure / structures in the center of the image naturally occurring or possibly man made? They appear as if the could very well be either.
Great image!

All the best,

Good morning "Art"

I've gotta' admit - in their own very special way these fellow Earthlings are actually attractive.
There will very likely be a few UHH'ers disagreeing but there - I've said it.

All the best,

A very good morning Joe,

Absolutely beautiful!
I actually have visited Lake Bled / Church of the Assumption several times over the < many years and have always found it to be more beautiful each time I visited.
For some reason your image introduces a terrific new pastel / softened look to the structure that is really impressive and not really seen / noticed by me before.
Simply excellent.

All the best to you and yours,

Terry
