The latest, photo'd yesterday just before I saw your topic, has that "Don't mess with me, lady" vibe.
Love that look!
I've had two beloved tabbies--Leonidas and Bill the Cat. Both were rescues from the local SPCA, and both were special.

Karma joined us as a feral kitten nearly a year ago. We are fortunate to have been chosen by her not just because she poses well but for how she's integrated with our other two cats.
Still skittish a lot of times but when the house is quiet she's never far from my wife.

Beautiful kitty, Rob. Being chosen by a cat is always special--for both you and the cat.

Cats don't have owners. They have staff.
You're right, of course. I should have worded the title more accurately. :)

I think there is going to be a sequel to that called, "Inside the Mind of a Cat Owner".
I'll be looking for the show you mentioned.

Love your suggestion for a sequel.
Just learned about a program that's going to be premiering on Netflix today (Aug. 18). It's called "Inside the Mind of a Cat," and one of the featured experts is my friend Dr. Bruce Kornreich, the Director of Cornell University's Feline Health Center. Thought some of my fellow Hoggers might enjoy it as much as I know I'm going to.
So sorry about the loss of Dusk. I've gone through similar situations twice with cats, and I know the pain and loss it causes you, but I also know that when you know they no longer have a decent quality of life the kindest thing you can do is to let them go. Having to suffer the pain of that loss is far preferable than never to have had the joy of having them in your life in the first place.
Hope you continue to heal. Relish having Piper in your life now. She can never replace Dusk, but she's already created her own special place in your heart, and that's priceless.
Good shot, and beautiful pup!
You're obviously justifiably proud of your offspring! Thanks for sharing this with us here.

Thanks Mark for a very interesting article. Here's another statistic for you: my wife and I will be married 70 years in three weeks, of all married couples we are 1/10 of 1% of that group....
Wow, Bob, that's IMPRESSIVE! Hope you're planning a special celebration, whether that means a big bash or a romantic dinner for two! :)
Interesting, Mark. Thanks for sharing it. I am, indeed, going to pass it on to some friends.
