What is your aim? to track down more interfit batteries or other branded compatible ones ?
I would instead consolidate the 3 batteries you have, into one kit, with redundant chargers and then spend your money on a known reliable system. Then in the future standardize on that.
If your Westcott system is compatible with their Flashes, why not convert to those.
Another brand that never quits is Quantum.
If you are doing work for pay, you really need reliable systems

Thank you for your response.
1. The Westcott System is not compatible with the Interfit. I bought my system from Westcott because they are a company that has been around for a long time.
2. The Interfit systems mentioned in my initial post are company owned. The company owns 4 or five complete two light head systems. On the shoot I described we had four stations set up. Three stations with the Interfit lights, one station, (mine), with Westcott lights. We run two lights, (butterfly lighting), per station. and have one battery per light head for each station. When the company owner realized that the batteries exhaust after about 4 hours he realized he should buy backup batteries. When he tried to do so he was unable to find any. B & H advised him that the company was no longer in business. My employer searched the internet and came up empty.
3. When I was doing research on which lighting system to buy nfor myself I read a thread on UHH that said Interfit, Neewer, and, I think, Godox were the essentially same system, made by the same manufacturer, and then branded under different names. So I figured the batteries might be compatible. I was told by my employer today that they are not.
4. Yes, my aim is to track down more Interfit, (or compatible), batteries and earn some points with the employer.

Hello Fellow Hoggers,
I was assisting at a monster photoshoot yesterday with 3 other photographers. They were all using Interfit Battery operated lighting systems. (I was using my Westcott System). About halfway through the shoot the photographers using the Interfit system had to swap out batteries. A problem arose because there were not enough batteries to go around. It seems our employer did not order extra batteries when he bought the system. So we had to limp along with three photographers shooting while one recharged his batteries. (By the way, my Westcott system performed throughout the shoot without requiring a battery change). Anyway, the company owner, who was also one of the photographers, said he was unable to purchase additional Interfit batteries as the company went out of business.
I remembered a thread on this forum from a while back on which someone mentioned that there were several companies that were using the same manufacturer for these systems and were just wrapping their "can" around the same product. Being curious, I did a little research today and sure enough, I could not find an Interfit website or anyone carrying the system. They seem to have disappeared. So I checked out the Neewer system and it looks like the battery is the same. Before I send this information to my employer, I wanted to tap into the knowledge base here and see what comments you may have. Any information or experiences would be appreciated. Thanks.

Where is this free software? I'd like to try it. What is its name. Is it Generative AI or is that a generic reference

Hello,
There is a Chinese clone of the OEM FTZ adapter on ebay for about 1/3 of the nikon price. I bought it and it works very well with all of my lenses. I also bought the completely manual adapter and the advice given to you by other responders to this thread are very accurate. You have to set the shutter speed manually and your lens will only work at whatever the aperture was when you last used it without the adaper. Focus is also manual.

It was a good series that I watched several years ago. It was adapted from several books aimed at the teen-age audience. It was quite intriguing, and it did have a good ending.

Ah Sicilia, I was also there in 2006 visting the town of my progenitors, Calatafimi. I loved it so much I bought a house there and stayed for ten years. A different, slower, more relaxed style of living. I must post some photos soon.

Why not Highlight everything in the e-mail (CTRL+A) then CTRL + C (Copy), and then CTRL V (paste) into a Notepad or Word file. Give the file a name (ie: My emails) and store it wherever you want on your computer? You can also point a shortcut to this file to bring it up quickly and add to it as often as you like. Remember to SAVE after adding. You could also store the e-mails on a usb drive this way and copy them to the drive periodically.

I am so happy you are enjoying your Italy trip. I bought a house and lived in Italy for 10 years after I retired. I have been in many of the places you are visiting. Don't miss the Sforza palace in Milan. Beware of the Middlereasteners wanting to to "give" yolu a friendship braclet. keep your hand over your pocket.

People are always being a downer. This age of political correctness is ridiculous. If something is funny, IT'S FUNNY. It made me laugh. If you live in the North East, French jokes prevail, if you live in New York every ethnicity is up for grabs, If you live in the mid-west anything Southern is fodder. Westerners make fun of Easterners, Easterners make fun of Westerners. Most of the jokes are good natured. I lived in Europe for a number of years and have traveled extensively all over the world. My son-in-law is Japanese. You should hear some of his jokes about people in the USA. I can tell you without a doubt that everything is reciprocal. Only in the USA do folks get their panties in a wad over jokes.

Just received my new Z8's so I sold my Z6's. I Love David Bush Digital Photography books and use them all the time for reference. I am hoping he will publish one for the Z8 soon. I no longer need my Z6 book and am selling it for 1/2 the original Amazon price plus book rate shipping for anyone interested. I would rate the condition as good+. I have highlighted passages throughout the book so I could find areas of interest easily.
Amazon Price $40.00 - Your price $20.00 + book rate (USPS) shipping. PM me if interested.
