Once or twice a year, I take a week or so motorcycle trip with a group of friends. I ride a Harley Road King which creates a considerable amount of vibration. I'm sure it would shake my camera apart if I were to pack it in a saddle bag -- although I've never tested the theory :). I've thought about strapping a hard protective case to the luggage rack or back seat. I'm wondering if anyone has done this or something similar and might have a suggestion as to what might work or worked for them?

We ride to some beautiful spots. Last year I found myself in Terlingua, TX at Big Bend National Park looking up at the Milky Way with nothing but an iPhone 6S+. The only time I take a camera with me on the bike is if I pack it in my Lowepro backpack and wear it to wherever I'm going. Not so bad for short trips but not really practical for longer trips. Anyway, thanks for any suggestions.

I bought a studded leather cooler (looks like a tour pack). I usually keep it on the passenger seat and locked onto the backrest uprights. I lined it with the pick and pluck foam. Works perfect. It also works well as a backrest for me on long rides. I am on a fully dressed 2011 Fatboy. On the attached pic the "cooler" is on the back rack.

I also have to agree with Adobe's Lightroom. Keep in mind for $10 a month you get free up grades and the entire Adobe suite that includes Lightroom and Photoshop that I use all the time
and a bunch of other stuff (that I don't use).

My son is the computer guru (Software engineer and now going for his cyber securities degree), what he suggested to me was look for a high grade gaming computer. That way you'll have the speed, graphics and memory more than capable to handle just about anything.

I would definitely just ditch the old computer. Make sure they dump the info from your old hard drive into a separate folder onto the new computer. Even better is to have a backup external hard drive.

I found no difference between my manfroto carbon fiber tri-pod and my neewer (big price difference though). Both are light-weight, sturdy with smooth action. My mono-pod is a manfroto and I love it.

The # to call at fedex is 1-800-gofedex. Tell them what you told us. They will issue you a claim #. Then they have a few days to figure it out. In the meantime contact b@h and give them the claim #. They should be able to replace your items and fedex can either find and return the original order to B&H or reimburse B&H.

Please feel free to Critique. If you leave a positive critique, I pat myself on the back. If you leave a negative or informative critique it'll give me ideas of what to try next time.

My travel lens is the 24-120 f/4 VR on my D750. It isn't nearly as heavy as the 24-70 but will still give you beautiful pics. Also invest in a great sling instead of a neck strap. A hip holster would also be a great "add" to help with off-setting the weight.

I bought a laminated "Cheat-sheet" from amazon for less than 10bucks. Great investment and I take it with me in my camera bag. Twice now it has saved me in a pinch.
