Saw this squirrel on our neighbor's windowsill...on the 3rd floor of our apartment building! I got some crackers to feed him and he hopped over to our windowsill. Got the idea to put our my little ceramic squirrel to see what he'd do, and he checked it out; I guess he was wondering if it was real. Then he actually came inside for a short visit. Amazing how he got up to the erd floor!

I was in the store the other day and saw a fake stuffed squirrel toy for dogs. I was thinking about putting it out in the yard where the squirrels hang out without my cat seeing me do that and see if he would spend an hour creeping up on it and attack haha

Welcome to Day 94 :) It's Telephoto Tuesday on our dedicated challenge month. I think we pretty much agree that means bringing something in the far distance a bit closer. For me that means landscapes, but feel free to photograph whatever it means to you. Y'all are excellent photographers .. and I really enjoy the photos you choose to share with us. :) Here are a few examples to get us started. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.

Guess i'm one of the squirrel fans. I have 3 or 4 that hang around in my backyard. Also lucky that I don't feed birds and don't have any trees real close to the house. Anyway, this little guy was out exploring with Mom squirrel and when I walked out on the deck I scared them. Mom headed for the trees but this guy froze. Mom was yelling at him and he tried to hide. I quess he thought if he couldn't see me, I couldn't see him!

Zippy is my dog, Gracie's playmate. I just put up a bird feeder out front and while photographing my tulips I caught Zippy trying to get into the bird feeder. He didn't succeed but made several attempts during the day. Several times Gracie chased him higher in the tree or out of the yard.

Post your squirrel photos.

Ron

Oh no--be still, be verrry still!

This should be a good place to hide!

Ha Ha, he can't see me behind this post!!

Welcome to Day 90 :) I'm feeling 100% ...and I'm glad to be back. I didn't want to go to the archives .. so I'm a bit lacking in photos for examples. If you
will indulge me one more day I will get out there and make up for lost time. Feel free to post anything that you wish to share. I always try to photograph the
beauty I see ... but somehow I also can't resist the dead and dying in nature. Mother Natures Rejects.

Post whatever you were inspired to photograph .. the only requirement is you have to take the photo today ..(within the last 24 hours).

I wasn't able to drag myself out of the house but I did manage to go out on the patio for about 5 minutes.

I never know from one day to the next what I will be photographing. Having a day like today will allow us all to do some freestyle photography.
