Make it simple, did you feel any kind of different between those camera?
Before I got my Nikon 810 I didn’t read any reviews or ether I know what kind of camera this was. This camera feels just right and I realize what certain difference was vs my lower end body.
With that camera I decided that I need a change to be a better photographer and I’m still working on it.
Old goes new comes…..the first HP 200 from around 23 years ago still shoots and just 1MB camera. With the today’s technology upgrade it doesn’t help to use this camera. You could buy from use but with that age it can be more risky to get a good body. Or google and see if someone did a repair video or any other source.
Look at something like the Fuji x100 maybe this could be a compromise. There are many choices out just look around.
The 24-70 isn’t good enough? I’m asking because vs 810/850 the focus system on 7100 is not the strongest one. Just saying I may be wrong too
In my younger days I would use one memory card for any device. I had to stop this because newer device created conflicts. My camera can’t handle if the card was in an other body, could be a camera error-I don’t know.
In case I would be careful maybe exchange this card
7000/7100 with tokina 100mm lens it’s hunting for the right focus. The 810 with the same lens finds focus right away. With the 810 I changed the fear of using the wrong settings and watch light, composition…….with the 810 I don’t feel like I need more camera.
I got my 810 used with about 6500 shutter count.
My camera does two exposure to one image. I used it for some Mond/ landscape photography- camera did a great job. To learn PS /LR the first some lesson I got someone to teach me. I couldn’t grasp those programs in the beginning.
